Description
Sea View Cottage is a stunning two bedroom cottage overlooking the sea at Fort Victoria, a short walk away from the gorgeous harbour town of Yarmouth on the west coast of the Isle of Wight.
Sandwiched between the coast on one side, and the Fort Victoria country park on the other, the cottage is situated in an idyllic and extremely peaceful setting, with plenty to do and see right on the doorstep. There are two private gardens: one at the rear which backs onto the woodlands and a network of paths on the Isle of Wight Coastal Path; and another at the front which overlooks the green at the front and the beach.
The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms (plus one child in a put-up bed or travel cot in the master bedroom). Both the master bedroom and the living room have amazing sea views. The living room has oak flooring, leather sofas and an open wood fire. It also has a TV/DVD combo, a library of DVD films and a book library.
We never use contract cleaners; the cottage is cleaned to a very high standard by a neighbour who takes great pride in making the cottage immaculate for guests. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a wonderful self-catering holiday in a little corner of paradise. Free high-speed wifi internet available.

“Lovely cottage and beautiful walks”
The cottage was totally lovely. Very warm and cosy and in a good location. We walked into Yarmouth frequently which was a short walk along the coast and really close to Fort Victoria Park for walking in the woods. A stroll across the grass took us onto the pebble beach to listen to the waves. We walked from the cottage to the Needles one day (3 hours there and the bus back ! ) following the very well signed Coastal Route ( Blue ). The only thing that stopped a 5* was the yappy dog.....
