Aroma di Roma Maison is a charming apartment, situated in the very centrally located district of San Giovanni in Rome, only a view steps from the famous Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano and a few minutes walk from Colosseum, Circus Maximus and Bath of Caracalla. The apartment is located on the fourth floor of an elegant building from the early twentieth century, equipped with an elevator, and was completely renovated at the end of 2012. The cozy maison is composed of 2 rooms (1 double and 1 quadruple) each with bathroom with shower and a small panoramic balcony, and a living room with kitchenette. It is equipped with air conditioning in t...he rooms, centralized heating, washing machine and free WiFi connection and allows to accommodate easily up to 6 adults. A special attention is paid to families with small and grown up children who choose Rome as their holiday destination. In order to make their stay an easier and more joyful one, the apartment is provided with some specific services such as travel cot, stroller, high chair, bottle warmer, baby food container, changing table, play area with play station and dvd with various cartoons.

The position of the apartment is perfect and allows guests to visit Rome easily by public transportation and by foot: the underground station “San Giovanni” of the underground line A is at only 200 meters and just in front of the entrance of the apartment you can find the bus stop of buses number 360 and 87. By Metro you can quickly reach Termini Station, Spanish Steps, Saint Peter and Vatican Museum , by bus Roman Forum and Piazza Navona. For those who love walking tours, there is the possibility of enchanting tourist itineraries to Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Baths of Caracalla, starting directly from Aroma di Roma Maison. For those who arrive by car, there is a private garage, just in front of the building, at the rate of 15 Euro per day. San Giovanni is a safe district both during the day and during the night and offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops, banks, supermarkets, pharmacies, garages; all within easy reach!

The apartment can be easily reached by car and with public transportation.

By car: From all highways take the G.R.A. (grande raccordo anulare – ring around Rome) and exit at number 23 “San Giovanni” in direction Rome centre, you are in Via Appia Nuova, continue straight for approx. 3 km, at Piazza Re di Roma take the fifth exit (Via Cerveteri), at Piazza Tarquinia turn right on Via Gabi, the second street right is Via Faleria, we are at number 17.

By train: Transfer service from and to Termini Station is on request

From the train station Termini take the underground line A in direction Anagnina, get off at the stop San Giovanni, walk along Via Appia, the second street right is Via Faleria, we are at number 17.

By plane: Transfer service from and to the airports is on request

From Fiumicino airport, take the train Leonardo Express (it departs every 30 minutes between 6 am and 11 pm) to Termini train station; from there take the underground line A in direction Anagnina, get off at the stop San Giovanni, walk along Via Appia, the second street right is Via Faleria, we are at number 17.

The district is also famous for the picturesque flea market of Via Sannio, after Porta Portese the second most important flea market of Rome (the opening hours are from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1.30 pm), as well as for the colorful concert of May 1st that takes place every year in the huge square in front of the Basilica.

  We spend 1 week at the beautiful & clean appartment. The bedrooms are facing a little street, which is no issue- it´s calm and quite though. The appartment is equipped with everything you might ever need. It has 2 balconies with a nice view over St. Giovanni area.
  In just a view minutes you reach the tube station & buses which take you everywhere. We even walked into the center every day. There a several shops, bars and restaurants around.
  
  It´s been a great time and we really had a warm welcome, which made us feel very comfortable.

  A comfortable, central and quite stay near S. Giovanni in Latran

  The appt situated on the 4th floor, is lovely,warm, really spacious,clean and bright, very quite (as the street at the bottom is one way and not very busy),secure and so well and central located,with metro (5mn by foot),and a bus in front of the door for the Colosseo (where there is the metro too).Many shops in the streets around, a well stocked grocery at the bottom of the building, a market at 5mn. Colosseo is at about 15/20mn by foot,and St Giovanni di Latrano (one of the main basilica since it was the Pope's basilica before it became St peter,and surely one of the most beautiful for us),at only 8mn (you can see it from the balcony of the flat (be careful with the young children as the fence is a bit low)).
  We have also been very deliciously welcomed by Raffaella's parents. We really enjoyed to come back in this oasis after spending all the day running in Roma,and all that has contributed to make our stay there unforgettable.We may recommand aromadiromamaison as we enjoyed it somuch

  Confesso que fiquei surpresa quando me deparei com o portão do apartamento. Um portão finamente decorado com Madeira e um belíssimo dourado. Já na porta do apartamento, quando abrimos, a sensação de tranqüilidade pelas belas paredes brancas e detalhes coloridos. Tudo cuidadosamente adornado. As toaletes finamente decoradas. A cozinha equipada com materiais de ponta. Os quartos belos e aconchegantes, tudo novo. Somando a tudo isso, a simpatia dos anfitriões que nos recebeu com uma bela garrafa de vinho.
  Por tudo isso recomendo esse apartamento, ele é perfeito.

  Beautiful apartment, very clean, well equipped and conveniently located. There are grocery stores right across the street and a subway station within walking distance. Very nice neighborhood, also. Very nice and friendly hosts. We can definitely recommend this apartment!!

  sono stato all'aroma di roma maison con mia moglie e i miei 3 figli ed è stata una bellissima esperienza, oltre che per la bellezza indiscussa di Roma, anche per la comodità e il gusto dell'appartamento in cui abbiamo alloggiato. Ci siamo mossi facilmente sia con i mezzi pubblici (autobus e metropolitana) che a piedi, sotto casa è pieno di negozi e c'è anche un caratteristico mercatino delle pulci (via sannio). Lo consiglieremo senz'altro ai nostri amici!
