The location is superb, so the key handling and punctuality. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and well equipped with working kitchen appliances and kitchenware. It is well cleaned, the bed is comfortable and there is a lot of linen. It has many windows and the view of the Roman roofs is nice. The shortcomings are a small shower and a broken tap holder which can be fixed for few euros. The TV is very small and has only 3 Italian speaking stations. I rated it five stars because generally the apartment is a very good solution for tourists who stay in Rome for a week and if we come again we shall surely choose it.

My husband and I spent a week in the apartment. The location is fantastic, and we walked everywhere in Rome from there. The light in the apartment is wonderful, and the views of the surrounding rooftops are magical.
While the apartment is comfortable, it is sorely in need of upgrading and better maintenance. The sofa and armchairs are worn out and have stained covers. The shower curtain had mildew on it and was ripped. The walls, especially in the kitchen, are covered with marks.
The positive aspects of the apartment outweighed the negatives, but this apartment could be so much more appealing and inviting. I hope the owner will spruce things up for the next visitors and make it the 5-star apartment that it deserves to be.

This is an excellent apartment in the probably the part of Rome.. Close to everything.. In the heart of the city.. Full of character.

The apartment was well supplied with what we needed for cooking, etc. The strength of this apartment, though, is the location. We could walk to all the places we wanted to visit quite easily. The apartment itself could use a little attention. The chairs are completely worn out, the shower needed repair, and the clothes dryer wasn't working. Overall, however, it was very adequate.

Thank you for your feedback! We've taken care of the chairs and the shower. The washer is working, but it's not a dryer as well. To dry your clothes you can use the hanging rack in the apartment or a dry/clean facility not far from the apartment.

Ideal location - walked everywhere. A few things in the apartment could do with fixing, but nothing essential, just a few pictures. If you plan to do any washing while you are there, ask how to work the washing machine as we couldn't.

We found the washing machine unplugged, we're so sorry! It normally is plugged in upon check in but this time around the cleaner may have forgotten. For future renters, we will make sure this doesn't happen again, but just in case please either call us or find the plug right behind the washing machine. could not be indulged better than staying right in the heart of this
breathtaking city of old roman history. The cosy little flat of Roman
References is located right around the corner of "campo dei fiori". So after
having a piece of "the pizza" from one of the delicious restaurants, grab a
glass of wine and resume about your sightseeing while relaxing in this
comforting apartment. While preparing your espresso for desert, you can
watch through the kitchen window in one of the fascinating old backyards,
reflection the italian way of life. The charming aspect about "via del
pellegrino" is that the flat represents everything you need to feel home and
comfortable. Even the micro-washing machine in the cute bathroom serves
all your purposes. Whoever seeks the italian flair in a simplistic, light and
clear design should not miss out spending their time in this quiet roman
backyard flat.
The services offered by Roman References deserves one more time my
highest recommendations. It is clear through all the care-taking and
preparation that this agency offers, that they have their heart and soul at
the right place - meeting their clients needs is their ultimate goal at any
time. Roman References does not only rent out flats, they try to transfer the
spirit of a city into the living environment to have you catch the spirit of life
in a foreign country. I was ultimately lucky to find them online. -

This apartment is in a dream location if you are interested in taking time to walk along close corridors and really experience the city. Each time of day offers a unique opportunity to encounter the surrounding neighborhoods. The morning market is lovely but evenings are my favorite in this part of Rome.
The apartment is small but perfect for the urban traveler. New Yorkers will feel right at home! The kitchen has all one needs to prepare lovely meals (and you should cook after purchasing amazing food in the market)! If you paint, bring gear because the light is amazing; you are certain to find inspiration in the view from this apartment. The city's rooftops unroll and church bells ring throughout the day (and night--but why else stay in Rome if not for the bells).
Finally, you will find NO BETTER SERVICE THAN ROMAN REFERENCE. I have been a customer since 2001 and return annually. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There are no hidden fees or added costs. You can trust that your vacation will be perfect if you stay in a property managed by Roman Reference. -

Alltogether I found the stay in this flat really satisfying and enjoyed it.
Ofcourse there where some things that could have been better, as
missing lightbulbs, as an example. It should be a little better taken
care of in the details to make it a superb experience. But its great
location and neighborhood is unbeattable. No real objections, price ok,
but not higher.
