“Great Location” My family just spent 8 days in Nassau at Ocean Paradise. It was a fantastic location for a relaxing beach vacation. We swam in the ocean every day and enjoyed the fabulous views/ The house was in good shape and very well suited to families.I have used Vrob for many years and Catherine was a great hostess. We will definitely book this house again.

“Great Vacation” Gone Bananas is arguably the newest and nicest property on Lubbers. Lubbers is a short boat boat ride from Elbow Cay and the Hopetown Settlement. Lubbers doesn't have many amentities besides Lubbers Landing, Cracker P's, Down Deep Fish Store and Dee's Bread, but if you are comfortable handling a center console, it's a great place to be away from the crowd without being too far away. Both Patrick and austin are excellent proprieters at the two restaurants. Definitely rent a 20-23 ft boat (Albury recommended) for your entire stay so you can easily hop over to Tilloo, Hopetown or Nippers on Great Guana Cay. A stretch golf cart is provided and is perfect for checking out the island and taking things to and from the boat. The house has an easy to operate generator for the routine power outages (power outages are part of the charm of the Bahamas). The Wifi was solid and all of the appliances were new and in good shape. We had very safe dockage for our boat. It was pretty much protected from all wind directions. We had a great trip and can't wait to get back. - Bill and Karen

“serene, secluded gem” We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at Unit 12, Sunrise Beach Villas owed by John Fitzsimmons, on Paradise Island. This property is beautiful with a great patio looking out to the beautiful pool, and ocean. It was a very quiet area, and secluded feel, but close to everything. We could walk to the ferry, Marina Village which was beautiful, groceries, liquor stores, and atlantis. The ocean was calm and warm and our part of the beach was not crowded. I will definately recommend his units to my friends, and also thank you John for being so helpful.

“Excellent!” Charlie was so wonderful and hospitable! He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was fabulous! I felt like we had our own slice of heaven with the sandbar just behind the villa. “Lovely vacation home!” My husband and I just had the most romantic, secluded, perfectly relaxing vacation while renting the Palmetto Sunrise Villa in Eleuthera this May 2013. The location was great for visiting Governor's Harbor, and a short 10-15 minute drive to several great places to eat (we ate out often at Tippy's and The Beachhouse). The homeowners have been friendly and helpful in every way possible to assist with our planning of activities, from flights into the island to exploring the beaches. We were most impressed with the large notebook made for guests and used the information in it every day. The book has detailed directions for finding one's way to the special beaches of Eleuthera (photos of landmarks along the way included), and up-to-date notes on who to talk to for scheduling tours, and recent details on local restaurants. The Palmetto Sunrise Villa is luxuriously furnished, completely well-equipped and decorated in a lovely manner with many tropical paintings and sea-motif arrangements of shells and sea fan. Everything was top notch and meticulously maintained. It is readily evident that the homeowners care deeply about keeping their villa in top condition and it is heartwarming that they are so open to sharing this beautiful island and its many special attractions with guests who are fortunate enough to choose to rent the Palmetto Sunrise for a vacation. One of our favorite activities was viewing the incredibly starry night skies. We also enjoyed daily walks both on the roads and along the beaches in both directions from the house. The breeze off the atlantic was always cool and refreshing. We walked to the nearest restaurant, at the Unique Resort and enjoyed having drinks there. They have a beautiful beach and great views from the restaurant. The best thing about our stay in Eleuthera was the harmony with nature, warm climate, friendly people, clear water and escape from crowded civilization to a much more leisurely pace.

“Probably the best place to stay in Exuma” This was our first trip to Exuma and it exceeded all our expectations! The villa has a simply awesome setting with great views and experiences at your doorstep. Charlie greeted us with a huge smile while cleaning the grill which reassured us instantly that we had chosen the right place to stay. The villa itself is immaculate with Charlie ensuring we had everything we needed at anytime during our stay, including assisting with booking a tour.
