“serene, secluded gem” We have just returned from a wonderful vacation at Unit 12, Sunrise Beach Villas owed by John Fitzsimmons, on Paradise Island. This property is beautiful with a great patio looking out to the beautiful pool, and ocean. It was a very quiet area, and secluded feel, but close to everything. We could walk to the ferry, Marina Village which was beautiful, groceries, liquor stores, and atlantis. The ocean was calm and warm and our part of the beach was not crowded. I will definately recommend his units to my friends, and also thank you John for being so helpful.

“Week in paradise” First time to the island and the vacation was great especially with the accommodations at the Pink Sand Cottage. Perfect for the two of us and loved the views from inside and outside the house of nothing but beach and water. I'm not sure how it is other times of the year but almost every day we were the only ones on the beach. Maybe just timing but it felt as though we were the only ones on the island at times and having the peace and quiet was much needed. Thanks to Ken and adele for a great week and hope to be back soon! “Awesome stay” We stayed at Grotto Bay for a week in May. Salt Pond offers easy access to both ends of the island which you should absolutely explore. We went to numerous beaches and never had other people on them. Long Island doesn't have much to do other than beaches. There are a few restaurants and local markets, but other than that any kind of commerce is non existent. We flew in and out of Deadman's Cay and rented a car from Mr. T. Definitely recommend having a car. I wouldn't recommend Southern air, flights were late and planes iffy. As for our accommodations and hosts we couldn't have been happier. Jeannie and Kris gave us great suggestions and were more than happy to help with car reservations and general questions. The beach at the Grotto Bay is pretty and the water gorgeous. They have kayaks and paddleboards for use with islands close by to paddle to. We definitely recommend Grotto Bay and would go back with no hesitations.

“Paradise in the Bahamas” This was our second trip to Exuma & this trip was made extra special as a result of renting Nemo House. The website and description of this five star rental property does not do it justice. The house was a short ten-minute drive from the airport and as we arrived at the house we didn't know what to look at first - the stunning view or the beautiful house. The house is something you see in magazines, it is bright & airy and so well thought out. My wife and I were here on our own, but the house would be perfect for one or two families. There is plenty of space and we felt somewhat guilty using only one of the four very well appointed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen, with everything you could possibly need. In fact we never thought even once, 'oh I wish they had this or that', there was a griddle and Panini grill, a blender, a food processor, and more pots then you would ever need to prepare a meal. The house overlooks beautiful Tar Bay and the beach & water is easily viewed through the large windows and sliding doors that front the house, or from the beautiful deck that has a variety of seating options. The beach is at your doorstep, literally just a few steps down the staircase. On the beach we rarely saw more then a handful of people at anyone time, it really was like having your own private beach. We also made use of one of the tandem sea kayaks & of the snorkeling gear. The guest binder pointed out all the local attractions and restaurants & it was really our reference book for everything we did. Cindy & Luc were a pleasure to deal with and we felt like we had lots of support if need be, both from their local representative, Ian, and via phone with Cindy and Luc. On a rainy day, not that we had one, there are several board games to choose from and there are also five flat screen Tv's throughout the house. Nemo House truly is the best rental property on Tar Bay & I would argue one of the finest in Exuma.

“We had a great time!” This lovely housing has everything you need for a great holiday and it looks even better than you picture it from the photos. Our hosts were absolutely lovely, they helped us with everything we needed and even made time to go out with us one night and show us the bahamian life. This will be a trip you'll never forget!

“Shangri La” This is a beautiful spot. The cottage itself was very clean and lovely. The sheets were excellent, and the kitchen had every cooking utensil needed, along with heavy bottomed cookware (excellent for cooking that cracked corn for grits!) Sara and Dan are very knowledgeable, and generous with said knowledge. The beach is a short walk and is gorgeous, and quiet. No complaints whatsoever!

“Beach Paradise Getaway with Restaurant and Marina a short flight from U.S.” We made a last minute reservation for six days in early February, and had very good experiences both with the accommodating suite owner and the resort staff. Enjoyed quiet and reading time on our balcony and the beautiful beach, and also long walks in the area. Good selection of complimentary bikes and kayaks for the guests, and also a well-designed marina for sailors and motor-boaters--especially impressed with the ample maneuvering room for the slips.

“Lovely vacation home!” My husband and I just had the most romantic, secluded, perfectly relaxing vacation while renting the Palmetto Sunrise Villa in Eleuthera this May 2013. The location was great for visiting Governor's Harbor, and a short 10-15 minute drive to several great places to eat (we ate out often at Tippy's and The Beachhouse). The homeowners have been friendly and helpful in every way possible to assist with our planning of activities, from flights into the island to exploring the beaches. We were most impressed with the large notebook made for guests and used the information in it every day. The book has detailed directions for finding one's way to the special beaches of Eleuthera (photos of landmarks along the way included), and up-to-date notes on who to talk to for scheduling tours, and recent details on local restaurants. The Palmetto Sunrise Villa is luxuriously furnished, completely well-equipped and decorated in a lovely manner with many tropical paintings and sea-motif arrangements of shells and sea fan. Everything was top notch and meticulously maintained. It is readily evident that the homeowners care deeply about keeping their villa in top condition and it is heartwarming that they are so open to sharing this beautiful island and its many special attractions with guests who are fortunate enough to choose to rent the Palmetto Sunrise for a vacation. One of our favorite activities was viewing the incredibly starry night skies. We also enjoyed daily walks both on the roads and along the beaches in both directions from the house. The breeze off the atlantic was always cool and refreshing. We walked to the nearest restaurant, at the Unique Resort and enjoyed having drinks there. They have a beautiful beach and great views from the restaurant. The best thing about our stay in Eleuthera was the harmony with nature, warm climate, friendly people, clear water and escape from crowded civilization to a much more leisurely pace.
