Little Byre is a delightful character cottage nestled in the quiet hamlet of a pretty village close to the Lake District enjoying beautiful, uninterrupted views across open countryside towards Skiddaw. Furnished to the highest of standards throughout. It is an ideal base to discover all that the Lake District and the unspoilt Solway coast has to offer. The towns of Keswick, Cockermouth, Silloth and Whitehaven are all within easy reach offering a range of shops, art galleries, museums, markets, theatres and plenty of pubs and eating places.
This is the perfect area to choose for either gentle relaxation with walks from the door or for an action packed family adventure holiday with lots to do. Go-Ape High Wire Forest Adventure, Honister Via Ferrata, gyroplanes, paragliding, canoeing, sailing and a full range of outdoor adventure activiies are all on offer within a 20 min drive. Walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice. From the high summits to forest trails and lakeside paths, there are walking and cycle routes suitable for all.
