The lounge features solid oak flooring, ceiling beams, antique fireplace and patio doors leading to the garden. It has a well equipped kitchen with gas range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer, dining table and chairs. An additional family shower room has again a large shower, and the sunroom is ideal to sit and enjoy the unparalleled views with Red Kites soaring overhead.
For dog owners it is ideal as there are numerous walks literally on the doorstep or larger walks up to Loch nam Bonnach which also has a small fishing boat for day hire and is stocked with brown trout.
Fishing permits are also available to purchase for the River Beauly which boasts some of the best salmon fishing in the Highlands. For Golfing enthusiasts we are ideally placed within easy reach of Muir of Ord golf course, and as well as the picturesque 9 hole course at Aigas further up the Glen. “Wonderful views”
We had an excellent stay at Dunmore House. Julie is very welcoming and helpful and the house was clean and well-equipped with hand sanitiser etc due to coronavirus. The views are wonderful and I could spend ages in the conservatory looking out the windows! There were lots of lovely walks in the area, including to Loch nam Bonnach from the cottage. Our dog enjoyed herself too!
