“An unforgettable experience!” Chiara was the perfect host. She met us at the dock, walked us to the apartment and gave detailed instructions on how to best enjoy her native city. As if Chiara wasn't enough, you won't believe this apartment. The view from the terrace is stunning! My family spent most of our time just people watching and relaxing from above. You feel as if you're on top of the city. The apartment itself is gorgeously decorated and captures exactly what you would expect from a Venetian apartment. If you have any hesitations, don't! “Perfect” We had a wonderful stay at Villa GG and will give it the best recommendation. We were 17adults and two small kids and everybody said it was a fantastic place and vacation. The Villa had everything, baby beds and strollers for the kids, and a play house in the garden. The host , GG, was very kind. He arranged pick up at the airport for us, gave us a warm welcome with wine and a cheese, gave us a lot of good tips on where to eat and what to see. The villa was very modern and had all the facilities we wanted. The main bathroom was like a spa:) The location of the Villa was also very good. 2 minutes to the beach and a small grocery shop. Very nice area to do exercise like running, bicycle in the mountains and play tennis. We rented a car so it was easy to drive in to Split if we wanted to go to a bigger shopping mall, but GG is also helpful in arranging transportation. We had a fantastic time and I really hope we will be back soon. Thank you so much GG and Croatia for the unforgettable week!

“great location” the apartment is on a very quiet street yet has more than ample public transportation at its doorstep. The 4 and 6 tram that circles the inner city is two blocks away as well as the 2 tram that takes you from one end of Pest to the other. Within 20 minute walk to the Operahouse and 10 minutes of Parliament. Margaret Island is five minutes away for the runners.

“Excellent apartment, best location, great hosts” I had the good fortune to find and stay in the Painter apartment, one of a few managed by Budapest Guestbed. From my first inquiries, to help getting from the train station to the apartment, to my host waiting to greet me upon arrival, the gentlemen running Budapest Guestbed apartments could not have been more helpful. My host was very helpful and efficient in orienting me to the apartment, but also had maps and guides and materials of interest to my specific needs and interests that he had carefully managed to determine from my emails and inquiries. Throughout my stay in Budapest, my hosts were available and responsive, and clearly their interest was more than just my enjoyment of the apartment I rented, but also that I would enjoy all of my time in Budapest. Based on my very extensive tour of Budapest, I came to realize I was in the best part, for me. The area was clearly residential, but not touristy, yet a very short walk to the parliament, right on the river, easy access to the castle, a short walk to the island park, and fantastic local restaurants in the same block as the unit. I felt safe everywhere I went, as a single older traveler. The apartment itself is big and bright, slight view of the river, nice kitchen and bathroom, and a small living room or entry den. Even a clothes washer. This was the perfect place to stay if you want to be in Budapest, rather than the McDonalds version of it at some american chain hotel. The price was also very good and made my stay much easier. It was like staying at the apartment of friends. I look forward to my return and highly recommend the Painter apartment, and any property available through Budapest Guestbed apartments.
