“Wonderfully comfortable home away in the Northwoods” 5 minutes is all it took to appreciate the attention to detail Rick put into this place. Small but very accommodating place that provided exactly the type of inviting warmth in virtual solitude we were seeking. Perfectly equipped to stay in and cook meals, relax by the fire and listen to music. Our canine companion had the freedom to run and explore while walking the property/neighborhood. Never felt like the cabin was lacking anything. The lighted trees created a wonderful ambiance at the end of the day. Overall, a perfect retreat for couples and we will be back to explore in the summer.

“Honeymoon Cabin Experience” We choose this cabin for our honeymoon instead of staying in a hotel. We loved that we could cook our our food and eat it by a creek! They had a great selection of movies for us to watch which is awesome because my husband and I are big movie buffs. After a long day of hiking it was nice to come back to the cabin and relax with a movie. We really enjoyed our stay up in Grand Marais and when we go back we will definitely want to stay here again.
