“Little gem in the countryside near Budapest” Everything turned out to be just like the website promised things to be: Maria and Robert provided us with everything needed for a comfortable stay in the very peaceful Hungarian countryside. The puszta is just around the corner, just like the mountains are, and in the middle of it all there's your place like home, in Zagyvaszanto. We really loved to experience the most welcoming atmosphere and anyone planning to visit Hungary to experience its rich cultural heritage as well as its natural beauties shouldn't miss this great place to stay. However great Budapest, less than an hour away, might be, all we can say there's also this little gem which deserves, as much as the capital does, to be visited by anyone exploring Hungary. “Great apartment with a great value” At the beginning I was not sure about the location of the apartment, but I liked the images at the internet and for me and my family its important to have a nice well furnished place rather then a cheap looking place where you only sleep and where you are happy to leave quickly. This apartment provides you with a luxury and fantastic feeling of atmosphere. Its a pleasure to sit on the Florence Knoll (real leather) sofa and look throughout the hand picked photo books. As well it is great fun to find out about the function of the Italian coffeemaschine in the kitchen. The beds are very clean and I slept very good, because the owners provide some mattress pad, so you feel good during the night. And about the location its a perfect match. You can walk to bars, restaurants, night life, shopping and also you can use the tram or metro beside the house. It was my first time in Budapest and I recoment that location, because you are in the middle of everything. The old market close by is a must and much cheaper then the famous market near the Gellert Bath. I bought some second hand CD´s and gave them a try on the Geneva Sound System (works also fine with you Iphone or Ipod or via streaming) but honestly the Geneva makes a super fine sound with a CD. I left one Hungarian Classic CD for the owners. So the next guest can give it a try. I defently come back next time and might stay even longer. Thanks ...
