“Comfortable cabin in an ideal location” The cabin is in a quiet and pretty location, ideal for the Golden Circle sites (Gullfoss, Geysir, Thingvellir etc), and was warm and spacious, with perfectly adequate kitchen facilities. It was easy to book, and we received our damage deposit back immediately. Thoroughly recommended.

“A perfect cottage in which to feel at home.” This is a perfect cottage in which to feel at home whilst exploring the south west of Iceland. The views across the lake and to the surrounding hills are very special. It is well equipped and has a spacious living area and I would recommend paying the small extra fee for use of the hot tub after a day's trekking in the mountains or driving around the fjords. Iceland's highest waterfall, Glymur, is nearby and is well worth the walk. Haukur and anna Lisa, the hosts, are very helpful and friendly and we very much enjoyed our time in their summerhouse.
