“Superb orlando villa - fantastic family home away from home” This was our first ever booking with HomeAway/VRBO and we were immediately drawn by the description, photos and other reviews on the site for Lakeview House. We decided to go for it (a family of 3 adults, 2 children) and the booking process was seamless - Derek, the owner, was in constant touch and with very useful information ahead of arrival. Although our flight from the UK had a bit of a glitch (meaning we arrived in the dead of night) we found the place without issue. There is always a nagging doubt with 'owner direct' type sites that pictures can be taken to flatter, or camera angles used to conceal. However, this is completely without warrant in this case and I can categorically guarantee that what you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get in real life! Think that wonderful vista over the lake behind Mickey and Minnie framing the fountain is an illusion? Absolutely not, it's that fantastic. Think the pictures of the pool and spa look too good to be true? Well believe it, we enjoyed them to the full. Games room really that capable? Oh yes, my son and I enjoyed the pool table and the air hockey immensely. This villa was perfect, and as travellers a long way from home, it was a joy to stay in. Location was excellent - to the west end of the '192' so great for driving to the parks and in a quiet and tidy residential street. As there is no-one immediately to the right of this villa (there's a small 'inlet' from the lake) there is a 'semi-detached' feel to it which adds to the sense of open-ness and space when out the back. Facilities were superb, kitchen well appointed, TVs everywhere. Missing 'ice hockey' pucks were spotted before we arrived and dealt with proactively - this villa is clearly well managed and Derek gave us a ring mid-stay to check everything was ok. Beds were comfy and air con and fans meant the villa was always a welcome and refreshing haven at the end of tough day in the parks. It was an intense two weeks for us as a family, as we were doing the Disney and Universal 'thing' to the max but the villa was everything we hoped for and more. We whole-heartedly recommend this villa either as a base for doing the Orlando 'Madness' or simply as somewhere to stay 24/7 and soak up the sun quietly. We will certainly return, God-willing, and if you're reading this and tempted to book, go ahead and bon vacances! Thanks you Derek and Julie for sharing your home with us. “The best & most picturesque beachfront hacienda on the Riviera M” My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Hacienda Kukulkan during our Mexico trips, and consider it by far, the most gorgeous private home on the beautiful Mayan coastline! So look no further, you have found your dream vacation home in the Caribbean! From the minute we walked in, it completely took our breath away! The front of the house opens to a big tennis court on the left. There's even a fully equipped gym with panoramic views of the ocean, all which gave us the added motivation to work out on our vacation! ? The center of the house has an open air courtyard with a cute pond, and pretty patio furniture, and all rooms are built around it, some with spectacular ocean views. We spent many a night doing dinners under the moonlight and breakfast when we wanted to just laze in. The maids did a wonderful job with cooking & housekeeping, going out of the way to make sure we were comfortable. What is so impressive is that every room and every piece of furniture is custom designed! We spent hours in the fabulous pool overlooking the ocean, with music playing in surround sound throughout the villa. The location was awesome! Puerto aventuras surrounding a beautiful dolphin marina is convenient, close to all the night life & shopping at Playa and also the fabulous Tulum beach ruins. We felt safe and secure in this gated community! 3 years later, we were back to get married & the ambience was surreal! The courtyard, steps from the ocean, was perfect for our Reception, with Cocktail Hour by the pool. We hosted our family there, and the 8 bedrooms were more than sufficient to accommodate all. Our wedding was a huge success and our guests cannot stop talking about the gorgeous hacienda! We highly recommend Hacienda Kukulkan as your abode, to enjoy paradise in style! Like us, you would go back!! We are thankful to the owners (Rick & Sandy Spell), Marina of Riviera Maya Haciendas & Eddie, and maids like Mariana who made our stay there so memorable!

“Super fabulous, very happy family...” The property and villa is exceptional. Very well decorated and has the best vibe for entertaining. Mimi was our concierge and was very helpful and welcoming. This was a surprise trip for my family. All they knew before hand was cancun airport. I had pre arranged night time chef service. That was a+. we had 15 people who were all accomadated for at ease. Anna Paulo was our main chef. She made beautiful desserts! We also had Martin as a daytime bartender, he made sure everyone had a beverage from the dock to the pool to the garden. Good stuff :) The family enjoyed taking the golf carts into the dolphin area with shops and stores. We rented them for the week. The villa had them ready when we arrived in the driveway. Best thing ever was the night entertainment. Worth every penny . Water drums and fire dancers. 1 hour show. So amazing. You feel the drums and the water color splashing about with heat from the fire ...it's quite impressive, must see! I'm already making plans for the next trip back. We felt safe. Had everything a large group needed. Very accomadating. Playa Del Carmen was pretty close by by taxi. Bring water shoes if you go in the ocean. My next trip will include a tequila tasting at villa for one of the nights and a day trip to the salt caves and everything else the same :) Super Fabulous Vacation @ Hacienda Del Mar!! “Paradise” My husband and I plus 3 children recently returned from our first trip to Orlando, Florida. We stayed in the Villa Esquire. I can't say enough good things about this place! The neighbourhood is beautiful. I spent many hours walking the streets with my 3 children and always felt completely safe. David and Nikki did everything within their power to make our stay comfortable and fun! They called several times just to see if there was anything that they could assist us with. They keep this home in immaculate shape. Everything from the paint to the appliances, bedding, dishes, and electronics are brand new. This home is also spotless and tastefully decorated with tons of personal touches to make you feel right at home. It had everything I could possibly need for my infant including; a brand new stroller, a play pen and high chair to even baby spoons and baby linens. The kitchen is fully equipped to help with all of your cooking needs big or small. I even found a sewing kit when I ripped the hem on my dress! The layout of this home is perfect for several families. There is two master suites; one upstairs and one down. So even though we had 3 different groups in the home their was still tons of privacy. The game room was awesome! My kids and husband spent many evenings enjoying the x box, pool table etc. We also spent hours on end enjoying the heated pool! The kids loved it so much we had a hard time convincing them to leave the house to hit the parks! Disney is a close 15 minutes, Sea World 25, Busch Gardens 1 hour, and Cape Canaveral Beach a hair over an hour. There are also loads of restaurants nearby such as Olive Garden, Long Horn, Chilies, and applebee's. Plus a choice choice of shopping centres and outlets. the grocery, post office and Walmart were literally a five minute drive down the street. We absolutely loved Florida and this beautiful home and hope to return soon. Thank you David and Nikki for making our stay perfect and our trip one we will never forget!

“Worth It!!!” Our family stayed at Westgate Lakes for one week during Spring Break. We had a four bedroom condo and the space was fabulous!!! We were more than impressed with the resort staff and all the ammenities. The location was also very excellent and so easy to find and so close to the attractions we wanted to visited. The resort was very clean in all areas and very safe and secure for our family.
