“Wonderful experience!” The house is beautiful inside and out as well as very welcoming. Once inside the kids raced to pick out their bedrooms for the week. All the bedrooms are very spacious with huge closets. The house and property are well kept and clean. We had no problems using the wifi or our cell phones. The air conditioning was great after a long day of fun in the sun. We never had any problems with running out if hot water for showers or laundry for our family of four. The house is only minutes from the highway, but far enough away to be a peaceful place to stay. We definitely made this our home away from home. The owners Julie and Bryan were very helpful answering all of our questions and were a true delight to work with. The entire family had a fabulous time and cannot wait until we can go back again!

“We would definitely recommend this place!” We agree with all the other reviews! Great view, clean apartment, nice location, etc. Paul returned phone calls/messages quickly. We had trouble with our directions (that we had gotten from somewhere else, not from Paul), and he went out of his way to help us. If we are ever back to this area of Puerto Rico, we would definitely stay here again!

“Rustic and charming!” Villa is nestled in the mountains. Pretty and rustic. Beach is a two-minute walk.It is a private beach that is quiet and has rock formations. A bit windy, but Shack/Jobos beaches are known for their surfing and is to be expected. While you can smell and hear the ocean, there is no ocean view from the villa. The villa is perfect for a family of 4 and is a good value. Convenient location with nearby restaurants, a supermarket, and airport only 10 minutes away. Bring beach towels/extra linens for extended stays. Owner is very pleasant to deal with.

“No need to look any further...this is the place to stay!” I cannot say enough about this villa experience! From beginning to end everything was exceptional! Marcos and Magda met us there to show us the villa which is immaculate, spacious and well stocked. Our favorite things to do were boogie boards, kayaks and even sea glass hunting...which was a pleasant surprise! I found a blue sea glass rock so big I am going to have a ring made out of it! The kids absolutely loved the tide pool which was steps away from the villa. The beaches are all so close and in driving distance, but our favorite was Sandy Beach which we could walk to! The color of the water there is stunning! The kids especially enjoyed having a play station to use when they needed a break from the sun. I would rate this my favorite vacation spot thus far, and we will be coming back! Thank you again Marco and Magda for the best vacation we could have hoped for!

“fabulous !!!” It was a real pleasure having been able to meet such a wonderful and professional person as Mrs. Pabon. Even though we never met in person, everything was handled in a professional and timely manner. The property was in excellent condition and well furnished. I definitely recommend renting from Ms. Pabon and hope to do so again in the future. P.S. The property is about 5 minutes from the beach on bike!

“Great Location, Great Service, What's not to like???” As a disclaimer I have stayed with Casa Caribe several times (in basically all of the properties) over the past few years and have always had excellent service and great accommodations. However this time we decided on a last minute trip (i.e. leaving same day) and allyn and Ivette were excellent in coordinating everything last minute and getting everything prepped. Once again everything was top notch, Carlos went out of his way to get us the keys in the early morning (as in 4:30 am) and there were no complaints on our end. Although it would be nice to have a cooler in the house to take to the beach for after surf "beverages", but I can understand why you wouldn't have one in a vacation rental. Don't hesitate to contact them for your stay!

“A little piece of Paradise...” From the moment we contacted Billy with all our emails, he was nothing but helpful, courteous and pleasant! We spent 1 week at the house and were so happy we chose it! It's close to all the beaches, a gas station, Panaderias (Bakery), shops and grocery store. The pool is fantastic and the views are wonderful, day or night! During our stay, the days it would get very hot, AC would've been ideal, however, seeing the layout and design of the house- so open and airy, you would understand why there's no aC. We were welcomed by Evelyn, whom answered all our questions and made herself available if any issues (which we didn't have) the house was well equipped, full kitchen, spacious, clean and modernly decorated. I will definitely recommend Rincon Vista and plan to return for another stay!

“Right on the Money” Spent a week here last year on a vacation from our home in St. Croix. My wife and I loved it. Great location right on the beautiful beach in a great local neighborhood. Fish market and bar next door and I rode the neighbors horse through the streets on Sunday afternoon. Really an amazing place.

“joe paradise house” The barrero beach house, was one of the best stays we had in Rincon . it was me and my husband and my small maltese dog. we had a great time. The waves were very soothing day and night. beautiful area, nice and relaxing, neighbors were very friendly, my husband was invited to go fishing with the fishermens next door. the house was so comfortable , it had everything but food lol. joe is the uncle we never had . We cannot wait to get back there. not only is hes pet friendly but people friendly also. we had stayed in rinco paradores before but never again. Thank you joe for our best stay in such a lovely house. see you soon : )

About Isabela
Little is known about Isabela in Puerto Rico, until the governor, José Antonio de Mendizábal y Azares, gave permission for a settlement to be established in the area, around 1725.
The town was named after Queen Isabela of Castile when it was founded in 1819 and the local culture is still embedded in the traditions of the Catholic church.
Local festivals include The Three King's Day in January (Epiphany), the Isabela Cock Fight Festival in February, the Textile Festival in May and the Festival of Saint Anthony of Padua—the patron saint of Isabela—in June. See what you can find going on when you get there!
Puerto Rico's climate means that you can feast on mangoes, bananas, oranges and guavas, as well as chicken and avocados and white queso cheese.

What to do in Isabela, Puerto Rico
Swim in the turquoise water of the Blue Hole in Playa Shacks and see the marine life, caves and reefs.
Walk through the Guajataca State Forest and see the incredible karst formations. You can spend your time bird-watching, or explore the caves, including the Cueva (Cave) del Viento.
You can also kayak up the Guajataca River, and visit the Guajataca Tunnel.
However, if you are feeling lazy, just sling a hammock between palm trees on the beach and chill!
Walk, jog or cycle on the boardwalk along the Coastal Trail (Paseo Lineal). It's great for seeing the beautiful Isabela coastline. Unlike the boardwalks of the US, this one isn't usually at all busy. Don't forget your camera as there are photo-ops aplenty!
No visit would be complete without a tour of the Ermita San Antonio de la Tuna ruins. This is the main historical attraction and is where the town was originally founded in 1725.
Top travel tips for Isabela
You can fly to San Juan International airport, Luis Munoz Marin Airport (SJU), rent a car there and drive the 72 miles to Isabela. It takes between an hour and a half and 2 hours. Of course, if you prefer you could take a taxi, but this might be expensive.
If you don't mind more time on a plane, fly to Aguadilla Airport, Rafael Hernández Airport (BQN). Isabela is only 10 minutes away!
The best way of getting around Isabela is to hire a bicycle or car, or simply walk and enjoy the sites.
If you're looking for a bigger adventure, spend a night or two in San Juan and explore the city.
