“Perfect modern condo with breathtaking views!” Our stay at # 780 couldn't have been better. The condo is just beautiful with everything you need right there. The location is fabulous, and Janna is the perfect owner/hostess. She answered all of our questions straight away, and was available at any time if we needed her. The decor is beautiful and clean, and the condo is equipped with everything you need, although with so many wonderful restaurants close by we hardly used the fully equipped kitchen. The views are to die for, with magnificent sunsets every night and front row seats for the Friday nights fireworks. We used the Ilikai Hotel Tour desk for booking our tours and there were passes for the hotel pool which we used when we didn't swim in the ocean. I would most definitely stay there again and have recommended it to my friends.

“You will be very happy you stayed here” We are very experienced travelers and also rent our vacation home so have a perspective on both sides of this equation. We are a family of four with two teenage daughters (ages 14 and 13 at time of the stay). If you rent from Patty you will be very happy you made the decision. 1) Hosts - Patty was so welcoming, friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. She was a wealth of knowledge and was so willing to share her insights to ensure we hit the best spots at the right times to ensure a great experience. 2) Apartment - The pictures are very accurate so you really get what you see. The apartment has very "homey" feeling. The decor is local and tasteful, the kitchen fully equipped. The Lanai had really nice breezes and sunrises. It also had hooks which came in handy when drying things. While we didn't watch much TV there were plenty of options (cable, netflix, pandora) as well as a small stereo system. There were games to play, books to read (including several on Hawaii that we loved), and the all-important washer/dryer. 3) The Stuff - One of the things we loved about the apartment was the plethora recreational toys at our disposal. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkels, masks, coolers, sup's, Kayaks, bikes, etc. If you needed it, they had it which was huge for a family that spent everyday on the ridiculously nice beaches a short drive away. 4) The Location - Check it out on the map. It sits just above town in a neighborhood. It is not walking distance from the beach or town but a 5 minute drive (and free street parking) gets you there before you know it. It is walking distance to a great yoga co-op (Aloha Yoga Kula) which we went to several times and loved. Some may want to be closer to the action but we found the location close enough. All in all, this is a fantastic rental and we thought a great value. The personal touch offered by Patty puts it over the top. Do yourself a favor and book it before someone else does!

“17 great days” Firstly, dealing with Kevin is not just professional, but friendly and helpful. The whole communication, payment and access process was great. The main room is large by Waikiki standards. I did not cook but it was great to have knives and dishes when I cut up the pineapples. I could check-in early so that was an added advantage, and the condo was spotless. Would happily stay there again, yes sometimes its a bit noisy but Waikiki is not a quiet city, no matter where you stay. Mahalo Kevin

“Location, Location, Location!” The condo is just a short walk to the beach which we enjoyed daily. It's close to many great restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. We caught the bus right outside the door for travel to all of our sightseeing destinations. With a grocery store just a few blocks away we had easy access to the things we needed to prepare most of our meals in the kitchen. We loved having breakfast and coffee out on the lanai each morning looking out at the ocean view. The condo was clean and comfortable. The manager was quick to respond. We look forward to going back!

“"Lovely"” We stayed at Suite Aloha in September for 11 days. The room was spacious, airy and very comfortable. There was a huge ceiling fan to cool the entire room throughout the day and night. We were awakened by the sweet fragrance of plumeria as it floated through the windows every morning. Lovely! Sabine thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We were welcomed with fresh fruit and a Beautiful arrangement of fresh Hawaiian flowers. There were beach items available for us to use including a beach umbrella, chairs, mats and beach bag. The location was ideal. We could easily walk to Kailua Beach or to Kailua town. Kailua town has plenty of upscale shops and restaurants. There was even a brand new Target there. We would definitely stay there again. It was lovely!

Punaluu Beach 1bd/1ba Condo, #401

Punaluu apartment

  • 1 bedroom
  • 1 bathroom
  • sleeps 3

“Relaxing stay in Punalu'u” Our family stayed in condo #401, it was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The condo has everything you need and more. We had an incredible vacation. The condo has a gorgeous view of the ocean and a big, comfy balcony to sit on and enjoy the view! It's just a short walk across the lawn to the water. The condo itself is lovely and clean with a complete kitchen, not lacking anything a cook would need. We had a lot of meals in the condo and that helps too if you're on a special diet or just want to save on meals. The beds are very comfortable too! It's the perfect place for a family with kids to stay, everything you need is there, even a washer and dryer! Punalu'u is serene and beautiful. We plan on returning soon!

Honolulu apartment

“Beautiful, clean, spacious condo with amazing views and location” My husband and I stayed in this condo with our 2 boys as well as his parents. We found that we had lots of room for all of us. The unobstructed views from the 2 lanais were absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen was well stocked and we had more than enough towels and linens. ( bring your own beach towel though or buy some for a souvenir) Our boys enjoyed using the snorkelling gear. The double beds were a touch hard for my tastes but comfortable enough. The location was perfect for us. The beach was within easy walking distance and we enjoyed swimming in the lagoon as well. I would absolutely recommend this condo, we would love to return! Thank you Dainora for a wonderful stay and ease of rental.

“Beautiful Waikiki” Great location, central waikiki, close to everything, beaches, restaurants, grocery shopping, entertainmwnt. The most beautiful view from the large lanai, beach chairs, boogie boards. Very quiet unit on the 30th floor. LOVE the warm water pool. Definitely want to come back soon and stay longer.

Ala Moana Hotel rivaled Condo

Honolulu condo

“Great central location” Cozy condo, well provisioned with cooking supplies, linens and towels. The owner was very responsive to questions and called during my stay to be sure all was well. The room is small and I'm not sure how 4 people would fit as there was a queen size bed and a chair that converted to a single bed. The sliding glass doors make the room feel larger but there is no balcony. As it is located next to the Ala Moana center, food, shopping and transportation are readily available. The bus system is very easy to use.

About Kaneohe

Located just outside of the capital city of Honolulu, the excellent restaurants and nightlife of Kaneohe are a must to sample for anyone visiting the island of Oahu. Take in the panoramic views from Nu'uanu Pali, enjoy the delicious Hawaiian cuisine from one of the restaurants along Main Street, or just soak up the sun at one of the many beaches throughout the area.

While you're in Kaneohe, be sure to also make time for some of these must-see attractions and activities:

  • Ke Ala Olino Native Cultural Center: Gain greater insight into the history and culture of the Polynesian heritage found throughout the island at this local museum.
  • Valley of the Temples: Located at the foot of the Ko'olau Mountains, this iconic landmark is filled with traditional Buddhist temples and vast gardens filled with local flowers.
  • Go for a dinner sail: Sumptuous local cuisine and live entertainment await you on a sunset cruise.
  • Go to the Beach: Hawaii is known throughout the world for its beaches, and Kalama Beach and Lanikai Beach are just two of the many popular places that locals visit to soak up the sun.
  • Enjoy the Water Sports: Kiteboarding, windsurfing, and kayaking are just some of the water sports that can be enjoyed in Kaneohe.

As the second most populated island in Hawaii, there's no shortage of events taking place in the Maui area and many of them right outside of Kaneohe. Cheer on the runners from all over the world during the 37 mile race from sea level to the summit of Haleakala known as the Run to the Sun in March, watch the best golfers in the world compete at the Mercedes Championships in January, or take part in the wide range of festivities held throughout Kaneohe during the Chinese New Year celebrations in February.

A vacation rental is the preferred option for those staying in Kaneohe. Rent a condo with luxury amenities that's close to all the action downtown, or book an apartment with panoramic ocean views from out your bedroom window. Whatever you're looking for, there's a property available that will be a perfect home away from home for you.

There are plenty of things to do in the Kaneohe area, but many visitors also use the town as a base to explore the rest of Maui. The old plantation town of Haiku, the renowned beaches of Paia, and the historic buildings of Wailuku can all be reached within a scenic two-hour drive.
