“Dreams do come true in Radda” We spent a month in Europe and Radda was the last leg of our journey and the absolute best part of our trip. Besides the breath taking vistas that abound in all directions, the accommodations are spectacular. A comfortable bed, a gorgeous bathroom and a quaint sitting area with sink and fridge. Evenings we would enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the orchard. The gardens are filled with rows and rows of lavender. Exquisite! The entire villa is like a setting from a romantic movie about Italy. To be really decadent, we had a massage poolside that Mila arranged for us. It was heaven. It really is a place to find peace and tranquility, away from the noise of life. Mila is a charming hostess and a fountain of knowledge re the neighboring villages and history. She was fascinating to listen to and not the least bit intrusive. If we needed her she was there, otherwise she respected our privacy. My one wish would be, to have the opportunity to return again to this paradise. Thank you Mila for a wonderful experience in Chianti.

“A Slice of Paradise” We stayed at Podere Patrignone for 5 days in September. It was wonderful to stay in a self contained apartment after 4 weeks of hotels in France. The farmhouse is charming, the apartments are unique and quaint, the countryside was picture perfect and the weather was unseasonably warm. Simon and Verity were such hospitable hosts, yet give the guests their own space. We thoroughly enjoyed the weekly meal Verity and Pam created for all the guests. You must have a car to truely experience all the hidden charms of Tuscany, and everything is so close and the quality of food and wine was impressive. Our favourite memory of staying at Podere Patrignone was sharing sunsets on the terrace with other guests and partaking of good wine, great conversation and so many laughs. We will be back for another slice of paradise.

“Just perfect!” Our stay was amazing! We arrived to spend a weekend out of the city, and this place was perfect - private & peaceful. We were so impressed with the service - just the right amount, they were there to help, but did not intrude. The unit it's self was well fitted and was much more than I had expected. “Great family holiday” Our family (2 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) stayed for a week in June 2011. The lodge was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could need for a family break. The pool, table tennis and bikes were a great hit. Mr and Mrs Landman and housekeeper were charming and very helpful. The village is very quiet - great for walking and cycling and our children went pony riding at the local farm. Lots of foodie places nearby and a very good restaurant in the next village. Many places to visit - Champagne route/Epernay, Verdun and many war sites - visiting the Butte de Vauquois is very moving. It's a special place and we would thoroughly recommend staying here.

“Charming gite in the middle of everything!” We stayed at the la maison au fond du jardin. August 11-18. This place is in the middle of everything. With only 7 days to discover Provence we needed a central location. The gite was clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen & dining room had everything we needed to eat-in. The bedroom & bathroom had plenty of storage space for two. The terrace overlooked the garden, our driveway and a far off neighbor (which we never saw) with only one closed window facing the gite. All other windows look out onto the yard. The yard was mostly fig & almond trees on gravel. My husband used and loved the pool. We had trouble with the wifi. But Sophie offered a solution. The owners Sophie and William are very welcoming and were magnificent hosts. They are there if you need help but don't hover. Their home is behind the gite and not seen from any room or window of the gite. The pictures on their web site are very accurate. The very small town of Paradou has a grocer, boulangerie, butcher, post office and restaurant. The boulangerie had the best breads ever. The butcher had great meats and pre-made lasagna. The grocer had all we needed. We didn't try the restaurant so can't comment. There are larger towns with cafes and shops within 5-10 minutes.

“Perfect location to get away from it all and enjoy the good Fren” We've had a wonderful and relaxing week in the Hunting Lodge. The gite is very comfortable and cozy, we especially enjoyed the big fire place. The estate is beautiful and Mr Landman and Madame Noel were very friendly and helpful. We were lucky enough to enjoy some sunny afternoons with French wines and cheese on the terrace. There are a lot to of varied things to do in the surrounding area. From long walks in the beautiful nature, to the battlefields of Verdun and champagne tasting in Reims. The location is perfect. We would absolutely recommend the gite to everyone who would like to get away from it all and enjoy the good French life.
