The cottage is magnificent, so beautifully crafted, and you have thought of every last detail. Not only is the cottage as fine as it appears on the web,but far nicer! Spotless, well decorated, tranquil, and lovely! From the moment we arrived we felt like we were home. Every little detail is taken care of. It is obvious that both of you are skilled artists. Please know that we continually appreciated your creations all week. The walk through the redwoods to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful. “Wonderful experience” Although our hosts were not present on the property--they live in the main house nearby--this cabin was perfect for a getaway near the Mendocino Coast. There are beautiful gardens, less fog than on the coast, and total tranquility. It is and a well-appointed rental with living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. We highly recommend it.

“Want to keep it a secret!” I love giving reviews to good things. The thing about this rental is it is so wonderful I want to keep it a secret so I have no problem booking it on future trips! Yes, this place is that good! (And I travel here on a regular basis to visit family.) I knew when I saw this place online that it was charming and was not disappointed on any level. The space is just wonderful! My kids (9 and 12) totally felt like staying here was an adventure. They wanted to look for secret tunnels. No sure you could find a better location to stay, amazing to be able to walk out onto the main street of Nevada City. At some point, I want a summer stay at the Two Room Inn so I can enjoy a summer night (with wine) on the front porch. If I get really lucky, a winter stay with snow!

“AMAZING CABIN! Great location, couldn't ask for anything better!” The owner was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! It was wonderful for the large group that we had. Especially having the 2 kitchens, and the large family rooms. The location was great, as we went and hiked Stewart Falls just above Sundance Resort and then floated the Provo River in rafts, all within just minutes of the cabin. We were able to have a group fire pit at the park just below the cabin by the river. The wild life of rabbits, peacocks, turkeys and deer around the cabin made it fun especially for the youth of the group. Would love to stay there again and would highly recommend it.

“VERY CUTE COTTAGE CLOSE TO WHISKEY ROW......” This little cottage is really cute and comfortable. Easy walk to Whisky Row the most favorite place to be.. All you need is your food and clothes as this cottage has everything that you would find at home. We had to leave early due to a medical situation and the owner Karen has been more than understanding and kind to us.

“A serene and beautiful place to go....” One of many beautiful things at the cottage was sitting out on the veranda with my morning cafe....watching the mist roll out and the pelican's meeting up on the docks for morning conversations....The peace and quiet was perfect and well deserved...didn't want to be anywhere else.... The Cottage was fully contained and stocked and the movie collection was amazing!! Did not want to leave... I'll be back...!!

“Fabulous cottage heart of downtown SB” Love, Love, Love! Perfect place to stay in Santa Barbara! Walking distance to everything downtown, super cute, wonderful decor inside and out. “Loved everything about D&E; Digs!” I highly recommend this charming cottage and lovely setting. Donna and Eric are great and a wealth of information. They are accessible if you need them, otherwise they are out of sight. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. Loved the basket of fruit and muffins. A very thoughtful and appreciated touch. Take a good book or a bottle of wine up to the "hideaway" and enjoy the peace and quiet with the subtle sweet scent of pine needles in the air. Great location too in that it's a short drive to Mariposa or Oakhurst for a night out to good restaurants. We had a great stay in a great place and great hosts in Donna and Eric. We will no doubt return!

“Highly recommend this lovely cottage!” We highly recommend this outstanding, lovely cottage. Everything was so well prepared, it was very clean and the hosts are just the best in the world. You can come with any question they will find an answer. We stayed there for 5 weeks and really enjoyed our time. It is also I would say partially wheelchair accessible, however, if you are a young and sportive paraplegic there is not a problem at all. We worked it out very well. It is just the perfect place if you are spending time in the San Francisco Bay area. We definitely will be back and we will recommend it to all our friends and family.

“Home from home” At the end of our touring holiday in California, when deciding which had been our favourite location and accomodation, this one came out tops with everyone (mum, dad, and 2 teenagers). Our main reason for going to the area was to visit Yosemite National Park, where we spent two long days. It seemed a shame that we didn't have more time to spend in this beautiful home in its peaceful location. Both of the park entrances were almost an hour away, but through beautiful countryside, so for us it was part of trip. However if someone was wanting to make an early start on some of the trails, they might wish they had chosen a closer location. Mariposa itself was a lovely town, full of character, but we made the mistake of leaving exploring it to the morning we left - and discovered that nothing opened till after 10am - and we couldn't hang around that long. The house was great, and we were completely undisturbed. Having two bathrooms helped speed up our departure each morning. And the two teenagers were glad to have separate beds instead of having to share a double. The big washer and dryer were great (this was the half way point on our tour - we were running low on clean clothes!). The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in - I wished I could take it home! Eating outside every morning and evening, in complete privacy (except for the morning visit by the wild turkeys)and quiet, was wonderful. There was absolutely everything we needed, (and a few things we didn't need - like a karaoke machine!) a real home from home.
