“A Little Piece of Paradise” Five friends enjoyed the idyllic surroundings of Gingerland Hill to celebrate a wedding. We could not have picked a better spot! The home is gorgeous - spacious, well appointed and comfortable. No worries here about picking a spot off the internet!! The owners were instantly responsive to our questions and came by daily to check the property and clean the pool. The location was beautiful - but you certainly need a car to get around and hit the beach. The only thing I didn't like was having to pack up and leave at the end of the week!

“Wonderful” My wife and I along with our two teenage children visited Estate of Mind and had a fabulous time. Being nature lovers we really enjoyed the walks on the 5 acres, the waterfall, and the dramatic views. It is one of a kind on Nevis and would highly recommend it.

“superb” lovely villa with stunning wrap-around veranda. beautiful master suite. good kitchen (we cooked dinner every night) . fantastic porch. peter, the owner, could not have been more helpful or pleasant to make arrangements with. and when one of our key-travelers was stranded in england due to the terrible snow, he suggested a very clever re-route (paris>st.maartens>nevis) that literally saved the family christmas. the villa is set in a large tended garden. lovely pool area. 7 minute enjoyable walk to oaulie beach - our favorite beach on the island (the fish tacos - incredible!). also near Gallipot restaurant - very good - and Ms June's that counts Oprah Winfrey among its former diners. monkey's visited the villa's grounds several times - to our great delight. we loved Golden Rock, the bar and south porch at Hermitage, the lobster salad at Montpelier... and Sweet Lips.

“Fabulous Villa in Great Location” We stayed at the Royal Palm Villas with our 2 children for a week and had a wonderful time. The villa is spacious, light and bright with fabulous vaulted ceilings. Being fairly newly built the interior is lovely and decorated beautifully. We were close to all the best beaches and restaurants. Not only is Nevis a great island to visit but the villa was perfect for our needs with 2 children. It was great to have so much space to truly unwind after a long day sightseeing or relaxing on the beach. I would highly recommend this villa.

“Come and enjoy the view” I'm not sure what I can say that others haven't. This is a beautiful home with a million dollar view. Communication with Richard went smoothly. He was always quick to respond to questions. The property manager, Liz, met us at the house when we arrived. She helped us unload the groceries we had bought, then gave us a quick tour of the home. She was also quick to respond to questions we had prior to arrival. There were 7 adults in our group (6 originally, but my niece decided to join us). It was nice to find a house that had queen beds in all the bedrooms. I'm glad they put in air conditioning a few years back. I think the bedrooms would have been too warm for sleeping had they not had air conditioning. There is no air conditioning downstairs, which is fine during the day, but it did get warm overnight. My niece was sleeping on the pull out couch. To let you know, she loves the heat, but even she thought it was a little warm. Keep that in mind if someone is planning on sleeping downstairs. Also, she said the pull out couch was very uncomfortable. It may be find for young children, but not so much for an adult. Having the kitchen was great. We bought groceries for breakfast every morning and ate out for lunch and dinner. This saved us a few bucks. We found St. Kitts to be expensive when it came to the price of meals. The grill is a charcoal grill. Something we didn't realize until the guys got it out to cook the fish they caught (we're used to gas grills at home). Unfortunately there was very little charcoal and no lighter fluid, so we ended up baking the fish. If you plan on grilling, check the supply before hand. It wasn't worth the drive back to town to get the charcoal and fluid for one dinner. We enjoyed the Reggae Beach bar nearby. So much so, we ate there 3 times during the week. Just keep in mind they close at 6:00. Something we found out the night of our arrival, at 6:10. The Spice Mill was also excellent. Try the ribs, you won't be disappointed.
