“A beautiful family holiday” We are a family of four and stayed in the apartment Natalia for six nights in early May. The apartment as well as the whole house are renovated to the highest standard and in keeping with Italian authenticity. It is well equiped with everything you need for a holiday stay, including toys for children and games. The gardens around the house are extensive and the whole property is well secured and children friendly (our boys are 4 and 6). There are a couple of goats on the farm, as well as hens and geese, which kept are boys occupied and amused. Franco and his family are lovely people and made us feel welcoming. Their house has been in the family for more than a century and it is easy to notice their pride and care for the place. Dozza itself is truly a beautiful village, quite upmarket, and the castle is worth a visit. There are several restaurants which are all excellent. Actually, there has not been a single restaurant in Dozza, or the nearby town of Imola, that we have not enjoyed. Imola is only a few minutes drive from Dozza and has everything you need - restaurants, bakeries, cafes, parks, shops - but is not as busy as some other larger Italian towns or cities. We spent a few days on a beach near Ravenna, which are about 30 minutes drive from Dozza and Imola and easy to get to. All in all, we had a fantastic stay, and would sincerely recommend Franco's place if you are looking for an enjoyable Italian holiday.

“Fantastic!” If you are looking for peace and quiet with the adventures of sight seeing close by, then this is the holiday for you. After a short journey from the airport we stepped into a 5 star accomodation with all the comforts of home.We were spoilt for choice as there were two houses to choose from. If you feel like a night off cooking and do not want to go out, a chef can be arranged to cook that special meal and after all that lovely food, you can swim in the pool. You will need transport to get you from a to b and if you are feeling adventerous you can take the train to Florance and enjoy the scenery , wonderful restaurants and shopping, plus of course their italian icecream. The markets are very good, but don't forget to haggle. The best part of this holiday is the location you are on top of a hill with the nearest neighbours miles away. Great if you want total peace and quiet with all comforts.
