“Absolutely Perfect” If anything this was better than advertised. We had the opportunity to stay in both cottages as the owners worked with us to squeeze us in. Both cottages are wonderful. Preferred back only because of the fenced in yard that was perfect for our puppy. Great location within walking distances to beach, park, beach restaurant and small grocery store. We like to walk so found it didn't take long to get to the pier or state street where all the restaurant and shops are. Will definitely return. The owners were wonderful and by the end of our stay felt like we had been given the opportunity to stay in 'a friends' house. As we had a car full it was great not to have to worry about beach gear, umbrellas, etc - they were all available to use.

“A gorgeous retreat and a perfect way to end our vacation.” My husband and I booked the Cozy Cottage for the last 3 days of our holiday on the West Coast. The amenities are very good - fully stocked kitchen, excellent laundry facilities, a lovely pool, loungers with cushions (beach towels provided), and a hot tub (as I'm pregnant Carla also informed me that she has a travel cot should you need!). Location wise, a car is a must - the local village about 1.5 miles away has basic shops and some lovely little restaurants. Carla was able to recommend some beautiful places to visit and more restaurants than we could possibly manage in 3 days! I would thoroughly recommend the cottage and Carla is a delightful host. Thank you for looking after us.

“Amazing peaceful retreat” This is a great property that is literally steps from all the great restaurants in and around State street. You can walk almost anywhere from here, beach , restaurants, shopping and the house itself is amazing. Back yard porch and back yard was the perfect place for late afternoon drinks before going over to State and the aforementioned great restaurants. Rooms are comfortable and the beds were great. Mimi is an awesome property owner and gave us great insight into the area as well. We will be back soon

“Perfect retreat” What a great place to relax and unwind! Whether from life in general or the daily work grind, Pacific Peace provides a break from it all. We started our days with a sunrise view of the Pacific from our cottage bedroom and from the hot tub just outside our door. We wrapped up our days listening to the waterfall in the koi pond within steps of the hot tub. Wonderfully appointed kitchen, soft fresh linens and space to spread out allowed us to enjoy lazy mornings with coffee and robes while staying connected with the modern conveniences. We were able to blend work with pleasure from this beautiful light-filled cottage. We will be back!

“Lovely Escape” Family members and I spent a long weekend at Carla's Cottages while attending a UC Santa Barbara graduation. It could not have been a lovelier place: comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing. We had lots to do, but Carla has lots of local info and in home entertainment available. I've already recommended it to a number of friends. I'd go back in a minute!
