“Escape from reality” My husband and I both have high-pressure jobs. We were looking for an escape from the grind. We found it at Water's Edge. As we entered the gate of this quaint island paradise reality melted away. The main living area is open and comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious. But I can't say that we spent much time in the house... The view from the back patio is breathtaking. The doors open to a beautiful outdoor living space which overlooks the Caribbean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside! The days were lazy, filled with much needed R&R.; We read books, napped in the hammock, and simply enjoyed the sun and the seascape. The home has direct access to the water, and the pool is perfect for that quick dip to cool off. Although we were looking for a quiet getaway, nightlife was not far away. We found it easy to get over to Paradise Island for some dinner and gambling at atlantis. We enjoyed our trip so much we returned with our daughter the following year. She enjoyed it as much as we did. We've got a new baby at home, but are looking forward to getting back to Water's Edge soon.

“Best family holiday we have had in ages” This is a really lovely place. The pool area and cabana are private and very user friendly. Beach in the morning and sheltered pool area in the afternoon, ideal with 3 teenagers. Bedrooms are spacious and everything works. We didn't bother with a/c just opened the house up and used the ceiling fans. Plenty of living space and room for people to do their own thing if they wanted to. Close to most things but far enough away from noise and crowds. It helps that Maui is absolutely brilliant. Andrew leaves you alone but is readily available to help with any minor issues. The kids said it was the best family holiday they have been on in ages. We agree.

“Great Family Friendly Home” We had a blast. It felt safe and secure. It was clean and spacious. I have a large family of 9 and everyone had plenty of space. Quiet but friendly neighbors. Amenities were awesome. Hot tub was so relaxing. We had a great time.

“A great and fun place to stay” The house is spectacular. Very very well stocked and the manager Al made sure we had everything we needed and even came out a couple of times to quickly address any concerns we had. Very very close access to the beach and dock. Garage well stocked with water toys, chairs, fishing rods, etc. Everything you need. Abundant toiletries, towels, games and entertainment made for a very comfortable stay. Gift basket was a nice touch. Super easy checkout! We will definitely look to rent from again if we ever come back to the area, which we hope to do someday. Thanks!

“Great little getaway.” My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Colorado Springs and it was great to have a nice, clean and comfortable place to spend our evenings following days of "adventure" in the mountains. From Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls and the train ride into the Royal Gorge to quiet evenings at "home" in this well appointed little Victorian cottage . . . wish we could have spent a couple more days. Carrie was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this as a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped as well as washer & dryer for laundry (neither of which I used), although I had good intentions. LOL! Thanks, Carrie, for your wonderful hospitality. “Immaculate and gorgeous "home away from home" cottage in Lake Pl” We had an amazing stay! Go-cottage, 2 bedroom was great and I felt like I was at home. The owner has a keen eye and excellent taste for design. Perfect location for Lake Placid horse show and other activities that we did such as hiking and biking. “This is a gorgeous and spacious lake home with plenty of amentities for adults and child. 5 Stars!!!!” This property is on a gorgeous location on top of a small hill. The view of the lake from the house is breathtaking. Our group enjoyed our stay thoroughly and we took full advantage of the amenities in the property like out door fire pit, hammock, boats/kayak allowed by the home-owner to be used by us. The house has enough space--we were a group of 9 people and the space was ample however there is only one shower so that might be a limitation. the kitchen was very spacious and had all the stuff needed for cooking. It would have been nice if there was a functional grill for using outdoors--the one that was there was kind of old and did not work very well. There was some strange odor in the dishwasher but that might be because of its limited usage. Overall, this place is highly recommended for vacation stay. The owners were really nice and friendly and the view and location is absolutely spectacular! My Response Thank you for your kind words. I do want to say that we have replaced the outdoor grill. I'm sorry you had trouble with it. I checked the dishwater also but could not smell or see anything in the trap. We disconnected the plumbing to examine and clean. Whatever the odor was, it's gone. “Perfect place to get away from it all.” Cozy, comfortable, & clean cabin. Plenty of things to do without leaving the cabin, or within a short drive (pool). If you are looking to get away from the hustle & bustle, this is a perfect place. Unfortunately, it rained most of our stay so we didn't get to enjoy the pond or pool much. But the hot tub & pool table got plenty of use! The kids loved it and are already asking when we can go back!

“Comfortable, convenient and well stocked McCann's Maui Vista” McCann's Maui Vista is a home away from home! It has everything you need to prepare meals, go to the beach and relax in style. The unit is well decorated and comfortable. The beds and bedding were nice, the towels were fluffy and smelled clean. The kitchen had pots, pans, baking sheets, knives cutting boards juice jugs. You may think "big deal" but we have stayed in places where there have been a lack of these things and barring packing this stuff or buying it, it is nice to not have to worry! The multiple pool access is nice. We have small children so if there were an abundance of non children people at the closest pool, we just moved on to the next one. There were also times, more often than not, where we were the only ones at the pool. This may be because the non children people went somewhere else! Maui Vista is within a few minutes walk to the beach or shops and restaurants if one is so inclined. I would return to McCann's unit and I have recommended it to friends. It was a great experience!

“would stay here again!” We very much enjoyed our stay at this villa. The owner was easy to deal with, very pleasant and efficient with communication. The villa itself is in a great location, with good amenities close by. The local bar is a great place to while away a few hours and watch the world go by. The villa itself was actually far nicer and more modern than the photos indicated, and we appreciated the bbq and plunge pool. Accommodations were more than comfortable for a party of 4 adults and one small child. We would have no hesitation in booking this villa again if we were returning to Tobago with friends.

“A Magical Stay” What's not to love about this home! First and foremost Brandie herself is a genuine person who really cares about the people who stay at her home. From the initial contact of a personal phone call, to her follow ups on every little question, to her wishing us a safe trip to a thank you and welcome home at the end, Brandie is truly a great family person! The home itself was as described in other reviews and more. The location to the clubhouse could not have been better. A short walk down the path (100yds maybe) and the kids were relaxing by the lagoon pool! The added security of a gated community provided additional piece of mind even though you are only 5mins from Disney. The staff at the community became like family before we left. Friendly, cheerful, always willing to stop and talk about anything and everything! The home itself is exactly as pictured! Clean and comfortable made for it enjoyable to return home for afternoon breaks from the park. The Disney bedroom was the room of choice for our youngest! The downstairs bedroom provided a nice separation for our oldest to have her space when exhaustion took over:). We have rented homes before when traveling to Disney and Brandie's is at the top of the list! From location, ease of access, amenities, cleanliness, comfort and exceptional (what I will call) customer service and value, you won't find a better place to stay or person to work with then Brandie and her home!!! We will definitely be back again!!! Thanks Brandie :)

“Beautiful home, great location, heated pool” This home has it all. It is situated at the end of a quiet culdesac on Glendale's arrowhead Lakes. This beautiful home is furnished with style and quality in mind. The home is very spacious and has plenty of room for a large croud. The family room and eat in kitchen is the heart of the home. Large patio doors off the family room allows for indoor and outdoor living. A covered patio gave us shelter from the sun, while others enjoyed the pool, the sun, and the enormous surrounding deck. The heated diving pool was defiately a hit for everyone. Whether you relax around the pool or enjoy the shade from the covered deck, this place has it all. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens luxerious. The air conditioning provided comfortable tempuratures durig day and night. Just down the road is a grocery store and plenty of dining. A short drive will take you to all the shopping you'll want. Overall... a five star home and location. We will definately be returning to this property again. I would highly recommend this vacation property to everyone.

“Great Location” My family just spent 8 days in Nassau at Ocean Paradise. It was a fantastic location for a relaxing beach vacation. We swam in the ocean every day and enjoyed the fabulous views/ The house was in good shape and very well suited to families.I have used Vrob for many years and Catherine was a great hostess.
