We rented the Riverfront Fishing Cottage which has been beautifully remodeled with high-end stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops (including the outdoor grill). The screened porch with the stone fireplace was our favorite spot listening to the river rushing by below. Only recommendation from updates: a/c downstairs. The river across the street below the cottage has trout and is a great spot for beginners learning how to fly fish.

Thank you Jim, this was the most relaxing vacation I have ever had. Wonderfuly appointed home, great location and the trout were practically jumping out of the river! Great restaurant suggestions and things to do. We will be back and hopefully soon! We won't soon forget the sitting for hours in the screened porch listening to the river! Thanks again!

I have been to brevard several times and stayed at very nice bed&breakfasts; in town. They were very nice and yet the trout house still blew them away. It is very up to date and stylish with plenty of room. Everything was clean and we were surprised how nice the dishes/silverware was. It was like a home away from home. The house is close to a road but traffic is very seldom and it makes easy access for excursions. The east fork river is on the other side of the road (50ft from house) and the sound is relaxing and the fish were plentiful. Great time & bargain.

A wonderful relaxing house, the screened porch with fireplace is the focal point of the house, great grill, comfortable beds - bring all your food, beverages - you will not want to leave. Can not wait to go back in the fall.
