This semi-detached stone barn, set on a working sheep farm, has been lovingly restored over the past 3 years. Accommodation is over 3 floors with open plan kitchen and living spaces and generous bedroom accomodation, all connected by an elegant staircase.Upper ground floor houses a spacious living area with breath-taking views over the Duddon estuary and surrounding mountains through a large, double height, picture window, a fantastic space to watch an often dramatic sunset.The kitchen and dining spaces at lower ground level connect with an intimate landscaped yard, ideal for BBQs.With great access to walks and local villages this bespoke barn is a great base for anyone wanting a real taste of the South Lakes region.
This property is not suitable for children under 5 years of age due to open wooden staircases and hard slate floors.

Stunning house, views are beautiful and change with the weather. We felt a sense of calm and tranquility inside the house and would definitely recommend. Lovely hosts, who left a lovely birthday cake for my husband which was a nice surprise.
