Description

2 Bedrooms- Situated in truly rural surroundings, with some spectacular views from the location, this is an ideal base from which to visit the many attractions the area has to offer.

Easy access to the market town of Bakewell, the history of Buxton and the country houses of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall are all but a short drive.

Excellent walking exists from the location in addition to Dovedale, Lathkill Dale, Monsal Dale and Millers Dale all being nearby.

Taddington Barns (including Badgers Wood, Robins Nest, Swift's Retreat and The Manor) have been restored to fully reflect their character, with exposed beams, wooden floors, carefully co-ordinated fabrics and furnishings being used throughout.

It is possible for up to 12 people to dine together in either Badgers Wood or Robins Nest (if booked together)being adjacent at the same location.

Use of grounds and facilities available as advised by the owners.

The accommodation and private parking for the barns is accessed from a long sweeping drive.

Adjacent to Badgers Wood, this barn is of similar character and quality, with both old and new features being added to give the property a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The accommodation off the entrance hall, has been turned upside down. On the ground floor, the main bedroom to the rear, has a double bed with its own en suite bathroom, with bath and shower over, hand basin and toilet.

The second bedroom has two single beds and further beams giving the room plenty of character and its own en suite shower room, with shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

The spiral staircase to the first floor lead to the open plan and fully fitted and equipped kitchen, with vaulted ceilings, oak beams and king post trusses, wooden floors and occasional rugs, which is open plan through to the lounge and dining area to the rear.

This cottage is one of four cottages at the same location which can be booked together to sleep 28 people, the others are: Badgers Wood (Sleeps 6), Swift's Retreat (Sleeps 4), The Manor (Sleeps 14)

“relaxing stay at moor grange farm”

I stayed at moor grange farm earlier this year with 3 teenagers (16,16 and 18 years old) we were visiting family in Buxton.Usually we stay with our relatives,but decided we needed our own space for the week.we stayed in 'robins nest' at moor grange ,and from the moment we drove up we loved the place!!!remote with fantastic views and accomadation was wonderful and clean!!!the kids loved heated pool and i loved the homely atmopshere and SUPER friendly staff,they were so helpfull and nice.Deffinatley going back on our next trip over (we live in belgium) If i ever get rich-i shall buy the place!!!
