The Farmhouse
Ligoracce Farmhouse is located on a hill top, near to the beaches, on the famous "Etruscan coast " Quiet and peaceful, yet only one hour drive from the main historical Tuscany towns, the farmhouse has easy access to all amenities, including the local market and many excellent restaurants for eating out. It is really a "life-style" holiday relax in Tuscany.
"Ligoracce" is a classic stone Tuscan farmhouse that dates back to the XIX century. It has been fully and authentically restored, using local materials such as pietra serena and chestnut wood. The location of the property offers magnificent views of the Tuscan hills and to the front of the Tyrrhenian coast stretching as far as Corsica Island. The sun drenched olive groves, the smell of the wild time and herbs in the summer, the clusters of wild flowers in the spring, the clear unpolluted air, the silence make this little corner of Tuscany unique.
The farmhouse Le Ligoracce gives you the chance to naturally experience country life style in a totally immersive way, among genuine sounds and fragrances.

“Wundervoller Aufenthalt als Wiederholungstat”
Nach dem wir letztes Jahr schon zwei Wochen da waren, sollte es auch dieses Jahr wieder Le Ligoracce werden. Wieder für zwei Wochen Erholung pur. Wir wurden von Marisa, der Vermieterin herzlich empfangen. Sie ist unbeschreiblich in ihrer ganzen Art. Und sehr warmherzig. Das alleine ist die Reise wert. Wen fröhliche Hunde und gemütliche Katzen nicht stören und eine etwas holprige Zufahrt zur Unterkunft (mit Skoda Fabia im Schritttempo durchaus zu meistern) in Kauf nimmt wird mit Herzlichkeit, Ruhe, wundervollen Sonnenuntergängen und vielen mehr belohnt. So sind Tage am Meer (bei Vada, Cecina Mare), auf den Wanderwegen rund um Castellina oder ein Nachmittagskaffee in Pomeia wundervoll, genauso wie Ausflüge nach Volterra, Pisa oder Livorno wundervolle Erlebnisse. Wir kommen wieder. Bald.

“Wonderful vacation in Tuscany”
Lovely accommodation in old Tuscany stone house surrounded by silent nature and far from crowded places. Perfect for those who want to explore Tuscany towns with their historical monuments and stay by the sea. Householders were very friendly and helpful in every situation. Moreover we could taste some products from their farm and learn a little bit from Italian cuisine.

“We loved it!”
My husband and I spent two weeks at The Ligoracce at the end of September and early October. It couldn't have been better! Marisa and her family are warm, friendly and helpful and made our stay very special. This is a studio apartment, but the accommodation is charming, spacious, clean and well-equipped. The location, very close to Castellina Marittima is perfect as a home base for visiting the many beautiful interesting places nearby dotted along the Tuscan coast and inland, although we found our favorite days were ones spent relaxing and enjoying all that The Ligoracce had to offer: Al fresco dining overlooking the rolling Tuscan hills, cycling along the many old country tracks or walking down with the borrowed dogs to the river. *The dogs loved it too), We helped Marisa harvest the figs and the berries, and enjoyed tomatoes fresh from their garden and the jam she made with the fruits! We look forward to visiting The Ligoracce this year and we’ll bring the grandchildren!
