Description from owner

Description

Tethera is a converted animal shed which has undergone complete renovation, to be transformed into a luxurious retreat from the hub bub of everyday life.

A perfect rural holiday cottage with comfortable and modern luxury throughout. It is more reminiscent of a contemporary hotel than what you would expect from a traditional Lakeland cottage, with the 'contemporary cottage chic' styling proving a winning combination. Tethera boasts all modern luxuries such as full central heating, fully integrated kitchen, SKY TV in lounge and bedroom etc whilst maintaining the intimate feel of a classic Lakeland cottage with a real range fire and cosy rooms.

Coal Yeat Cottages are ideal couples or families, or if utilised together they offer a unique group environment. The highlight for both 'Yan', 'Tyan' and 'Tethera' is the breathtaking outlook over the much loved Lakeland fells.

Coal Yeat Cottages are so captivating, so unique you won't want to venture too far! There are unlimited local walks direct from the Coal Yeat doorstep. Yet you need not leave the estate to witness 360 degree views spanning out over Ulverston and Morecambe Bay (you can see Blackpool Tower on a good day), round over Gawthwaite Common (bikers dream), towards the Western Lakes and back to the stunning Coniston Fells. Alternatively simply explore the 1200 acres of Lowick Common with its hidden tarns, abundant wildlife and panoramic views from the top of the Beacon.

Here you are at one with nature. Sightings of deer, hare, badger, toads, heron and many birds of prey are a daily occurrence, while the night sky is a profusion of stars with so many shooters we've almost run out of wishes.

We also offer FREE fishing (subject to you having the correct license - available locally) on a half mile stretch of the River Crake for the fishing of Sea Trout and Salmon or fish the on-site pool.
