Description

This is a charming holiday property with fantastic country views surrounded by hills and mountains, yet just a stone throw away from different charming beaches all reached within a few minutes. It that was originally a former farm, and has been carefully restored in a airy modern to rustic style. The cottage is hidden away in a total area of 11,000m sq of olive grove nestled by pine and fruit trees thus permitting privacy and tranquility, yet just a 5 to 10 minutes walk from all amenities shops such as baker, butcher, fruit and vegetable, bar, a pizzeria , restaurant and 'rosticceria'

The property is well furnished and equipped, this accommodation provides a high standard of comfort that provides intimacy either for two couples or friends and family holidaying together. It has two bedrooms to sleep 6 persons comfortably with the possibility of an other two extra foldable beds for two more persons upon request at no extra charge. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed and a double sofa-bed with spectacular views from it's own exit to the courtyard, while the other bedroom has an en-suite. The bright living room has an open wood burning fireplace with an adjacent open plan kitchen/ dinning and patio doors opening on to the courtyard.

This land, a place of encounter and confrontation of cultures and religions. The result of this wisdom are the exceptional wines that are produced, the renowned olive oils, fishing techniques and a Mediterranean cuisine with a thousand flavors.

A trip to this province not only offers the opportunity to enjoy a unique hospitality , but it opens the boundaries of knowledge to civilizations and cultures.

The beautiful town of Castellammare, roughly known as the sea fortress because of the medieval fortress protecting the harbor together with the medivial town of Erice have a special lure to them that makes time stop. The white sand and the turquoise waters of San Vito and the sea polished pebble beach of Scopello make one feel in a forgotten paradise.

Segesta which is located on the top of Monte Bàrbaro at 305m above sea level, t is protected by steep slopes on several sides and by walls on the more gentle slope towards the temple. The hilltop offers a view over the valley towards the Gulf of Castellammare. The older part of Trapani boasts of a colorful fishing port which is next to the old salt mills, consequently a visit to the old salt museum is also recommended.

25 units of electricity per day are include, excess units will be paid locally at local rates. This is to prevent waste of energy whilst guests are not indoors.

Wifi is provided at an extra cost of 20€ per week.

Getting around

Getting around is fairly easy having a car, however all amenities can be race day foo in under 10 minutes walking. To go out of the village there are 3 minor raids all leading to different locations , so taking either on will open th doors to different areas however they do not fork out again unless you travel more than 100 km. following a map is easy unless you have a GPS.

Interaction with guest

My family who lives just 2 minutes away from the cottage will always be available 24/7. I travel frequently , however I always have internet access so either by msg or e mail I'm available as well. Before the stay , i will be sending personalised e-mails about the regions secrets and depending on the guests visiting i will tailor make the information being sent so that every guest will have a hilly which will be remembered long after they go back home. This will not only make the guests feel at home away from home but will also leave a positive feeling around the cottage for future guests.

“ottima ubicazione, casale troppo trascurato”

Casale ubicato in posizione strategica per visitare il trapanese e dintorni, bellissima posizione in colina con una brezza gradevole, purtroppo molto trascurato, pulizia scarsa, sanitari logori, mobili del giardino di plastica veramente vecchi e distrutti, mancano stoviglie ( esempio: c’erano solo 3 bicchieri ), molto probabilmente risente del fatto che i proprietari vivono all’estero, non vale assolutamente quanto pagato per il soggiorno.
