“We loved it!”

Reviewed 23 Jun 2014

The Granary was every bit as lovely as it looked in the photos and was in fact bigger than we expected. There were some really lovely welcoming touches. The kitchen had all the appliances you'd need and there were plenty of books and mags to read. The location was very peaceful and quiet with a field full of rabbits to keep us entertained while we sat on the patio. The train station is only about 10 mins walk away and there's a friendly pub called the Royal Oak serving food in Nearby Perranwell station. The Granary was absolutely spotless and the perfect base for our holiday. We were really sad to leave but will definitely be back!

“5Star Cottage”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2013

The cottage is very stylish and cosy, it could be an example of a 'country living' journal. Very modern kitchen and bathroom, very well equiped. It is perfectly situated on the countryside with no neighbours except a horse and a monkey which like to be fed with apples and carrots. We can recommend this cottage very much and compliments to July and Alan who could keep this high standard over the last years. We are looking forward to return - like many other guests who have been there for many times.

Response from the manager Owner response... thank you for the lovely review, I must point out to all who read this, that there is a horse and a DONKEY in the field beside, not a Monkey !!! and they both still do love apples and carrots !! :)

“amazing accommodation in a peaceful part of Cornwall, amongst wildlife”

Reviewed 9 Apr 2013

We have returned to the Granary year after year as we always come home feeling refreshed and wanting to return. It is ideally situated between both coast; there is a lovely pub serving delicious food and a village shop both within walking distance, yet you are in a beautiful field surrounded by wildlife. Imagine soaking in a warm bath with a baby rabbit grazing just outside your window! The conversion has been very well done and the Granary has everything you could possibly need.

“A Little Gem”

Reviewed 26 Feb 2013

This is my third stay at The Granary and have a further two bookings this year. My husband and I spent Christmas and New Year here and it was magical. I can't fault The Granary in anyway. The place is quietly secluded away from everything apart from the rolling hills and buzzing wildlife. Having said that, both Truro and Falmouth are just a few miles away as are the endless beaches and coastal paths. Within a very short distance you can hire bikes, walk, jog, horse ride or just sit in the coffee shop and watch the world go by! I particularly enjoyed jogging around the area, it's hard to get bored with the challenging hills and amount of public byways. The Granary itself is warm and cosy, all on one level and cleverly designed and equipped to a high standard. The extras such as bath robes, fluffy towels, a mobile phone, fresh flowers and a delicious cream tea awaits your arrival. There is ample parking, outside furniture and a small tasteful water feature set in granite on the patio. The property has sensitive outside lighting to create a real homely feel at night. Telephone signal is excellent and a dongle can serve mobile internet connection should you need it! But why would you?!! A lovely lady near by helped look after my dogs over Christmas! They really enjoyed their B&B for dogs!! The owners are delightful and at hand should you need anything... But you won't. I'm now twitchy in sending this review incase I'm unable to secure future bookings ...! don't hesitate about The Granary, you won't be disappointed. Ann Marie Stratford Upon Avon
