Description

Chapel cottage is situated in Grasmere village centre near to restaurants, shops and pubs. It is a typical small Lakeland cottage that has been completely refurbished without losing it’s old world charm. It now boasts full central heating, new kitchen with gas hob and fan oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and washer/drier. The lounge area has a flatscreen TV & DVD player also there is a CD player with radio. Upstairs there is a luxury bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower, a well appointed double bedroom and a small single bedroom. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided. The cottage has private parking for 1 car at the rear with free access to 3.0Kw home charging point for electric and hybrid cars and a small yard where you can sit out. . Chapel cottage sleeps a maximum of 3 people and no children aged under 5.THE COTTAGE IS RUN AND CLEANED BY THE OWNERS WHO LIVE ACROSS THE LANE.

Smoking and pets are not allowed.

Grasmere is on the main bus route though the lake district there are buses from Windermere train station every hour the cottage is only 150 metres from bus stop in the village center

“perfect base for exploring the lake district”

Lovely spotless clean and welcoming cottage Warm + everything provided and superior standard. Owner Martin very helpful and attention to detail from his wife who maintains Cottage personally, Will definitely be on the cards for future visits!

This cottage is lovely and is centrally located in Grasmere. Our host was always quick to respond to any questions we had about the cottage and the area. We'd love to stay here again.

“Beautiful Lakeland Cottage”

We arrived to find the lovely cottage all snug and warm with the gas wood burner blazing, a wonderful touch. Open plan living downstairs with a well equipped kitchen for self catering. A lovely double bedroom, single bedroom and modern bathroom with separate shower upstairs. Compact and bijou. The lovely owner is next door and introduced himself to us as we arrived and said to ask if we needed anything. It is situated down a quiet one way street in the centre of Grasmere with shops, pubs and eateries a stones throw away. We spent 5 nights here and loved every minute of it! Want to go back......
