Description
A traditional Cornish cottage in a rural location surrounded by farmland. With an enclosed private garden and parking space. Set in the open countryside facing the sands of Gwithian on the east side of St Ives Bay. Within easy walking distance of a three-mile sandy beach and numerous coastal walks on National Trust-owned land. Simple access to St Ives, Penzance and Hayle.
The property is a semi-detached cottage and accommodation is available from February to December. Oil-fired central heating. Can accommodate up to four people and one infant in crib (upon request). Linen and towels are supplied. Please note that due to Gwithian being a very rural area, mobile phone reception is limited for most providers.

“Lovely break”
We were very pleased with our holiday home, very close to the sea, central for everywhere we planned to visit. Supermarket close by too. The accommodation catered for all our needs The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The nature reserve was a bonus too. Lovely for early morning walks with our dog. When we booked we didn’t realise the bathroom was downstairs, as we are all golden oldies and usually need the loo in the night, we were just a little worried but needn’t have as it didn’t cause any problems. Everything was great. Would recommend to our friends and family. Thank you

“Bramble Cottage”
Lovely cottage set in a beautiful, peaceful location. Just a short walk through the nature reserve brought you to the large sandy beach and stunning views across uo the lighthouse. The cottage itself was comfortable and had everything needed for a relaxing stay so would happily book again in the future.

“Almost perfect!”
The cottage is nicer than the advertised photos, it’s lovely. I think it must have been very well aired out before we arrived though as was very cold for a couple of days. The mattresses aren’t great and we had to buy loo roll, but the cottage was clean and is in the most superb location. Jill was very considerate and easily-contactable which is brilliant. We had the most amazing week in beautiful Gwithian and to be in a lovely, historic cottage in a nature reserve with sea views is just superb. Thank-you Jill, we loved our stay at Bramble Cottage.

“Cracking sheltered spot minutes from the beach and long walks”
Brilliant stay... Lovely little cottage with everything you'd need. Very sheltered garden area and rolling fields to the sea view. Beach, dunes and National Trust park on the doorstep. Good local pub too... Easy to get to Hayle / St Ives if any shopping needed.

“Bramble cottage Gwithian”
Lovely old cornish cottage, stone walls and steep low staircase, lovely bedding and good quality towels, but the cleanliness of cottage poor, had to hoover ceiling when we arrived as it was crawling with bugs, also ran plates,cutlery etc through dishwasher before we even used, the little second bedroom had squashed spider remnants and the smell from next doors cooking not pleasant, in upsets me to leave such a negative review but these things have to be pointed out, the house keeper really needs to be trained on how to leave a holiday let really not up to scratch at all, it sadens me to say we won't be staying there again, a real shame.
