Description
Angel Cottage is a cute, renovated cottage in the centre of Kendal. The cottage dates back to the 1700's with lots of character features, including original, exposed beams.
The cottage is located within one of Kendal's famous yards. It is just a few moments from all of the amenities of Kendal but, because of its yard position, is actually very quiet. The house has two bedrooms with a king bed in the master and two singles in the second bedroom. Also, in the separate dining room, there is a sofa bed making the cottage suitable for up to six people.

Featuring a 50 inch TV, genuine wooden beams, 3 sofas, a fire and 2 windows looking out to the courtyard.

Fitted units, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer, window with view of quaint cafe.
Dining room
Environmentally friendly Mango wood dining table with chairs for 6. 32 inch TV with DVD player, Wii machine with games, large, comfortable sofa bed.
Bedroom 1
King size bed, wardrobe, drawers, full length mirror and window seat overlooking the courtyard.

Ample free, and paid, parking is available nearby. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from Kendal train station. A car is not necessary for a stay here but would be advisable if you would like to explore the area further. Local car hire can be arranged.

“Fab little cottage in great location”
Cottage is right in the centre of Kendal, couldn't have asked for a better place. Only downside is no parking, we kept the cars up near the Castle which is a 10 minute walk away. Does make things slightly tricky when you have a 9 month old in tow. Cottage was set up perfectly for our arrival, travel cot and high chair as requested which make life easier! Due to age of cottage dehumidifier supplied and heaters for bedroom in the dining room as 6 of us staying. 3 comfy sofas in the living room, good facilities in kitchen and bathroom. Really was a great stay, loved every minute. Loads of communication from the owner and amazing little info pack sent by email prior to arrival with directions, instructions and info about the area as well. Great little sandwich bar Delicious (I think that was the name) out on Stramongate, worth it for the breakfast buns and boxes. And with an Indian and Dominos just round the corner we had plenty of options. Ideal location for visiting the lakes, Ambleside 30mins away, Gummer's How around the same, Coniston also easily accessible too. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location.

“Weekend Break”
Angel Cottage was an ideal accommodation for myself and three siblings to have a get together and catch up. The rooms are spacious and yet the layout is compact. The facilities of the accommodation were in good order and met our needs perfectly.
