OUR COTTAGE IS LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF THE VIBRANT LAKELAND VILLAGE OF STAVELEY ONLY 3 MILES FROM WINDERMERE. SECLUDED AT THE TOP OF A PRIVATE LANE AND NESTLED ON THE HILL SIDE WITH VIEWS OF SURROUNDING COUNTYSIDE BUT ONLY 5 MINUTES WALK TO VILLAGE AMENITIES. THESE INCLUDE 2 PUBS SERVING GREAT FOOD, A GROCERY STORE , A LARGE BIKE SHOP(WHEELBASE) WITH BIKE HIRE, SEVERAL CAFES , AN ARTISAN BAKERY AND OTHER INTERESTING SHOPS.

THERE ARE ENDLESS WALKS FROM THE DOOR INTO SURROUNDING HILLS AND UP INTO THE PICTUESQUE KENTMERE VALLEY.

UPSTAIRS THE COTTAGE HAS A KINGSIZE BED IN ONE BEDROOM , AND 2 SINGLES IN THE SECOND BEDROOM WHICH IS SUITABLE FOR 2 CHILDREN OR 1 ADULT ONLY AS THE ROOM IS QUITE SMALL.

THERE IS A SHOWER ROOMS WITH LARGE SHOWER TOILET AND HAND BASIN.

THE BEDS WILL BE MADE UP FOR YOUR ARRIVAL.

DOWNSTAIRS IS AN OPENPLAN LOUNGE/DINING/KITCHEN.

THE KITCHEN IS FULLY EQUIPPED WITH MICROWAVE ,DISHWASHER ,ELECTRIC OVEN AND HOB ,BELFAST SINK .UNDER COUNTER FRIDGE AND SEPARATE SMALL FREEZER

THERE IS SKY TV AND DVD PLAYER WITH ASSORTED DVDS/ SEVERAL BOARD GAMES JUST IN CASE IT RAINS!

THERE IS A LARGE FEATURE LOG BURNING STOVE IN THE LOUNGE AREA AT THE END OF THE DINING KITCHEN.

A PATIO /GARDEN AREA WITH OUTDOOR TABLE AND CHAIRS MAKES THE MOST OF THE SUN AT THE FRONT OF THE COTTAGE.

THERE IS A PRIVATE CAR PARK SPACE FOR 1 CAR AT THE END OF THE GARDEN.

“Beautiful cottage”

Had a lovely stay at pear tree cottage. Went away for the weekend and found the location to be perfect. We arrived to a warm welcoming and my highlight was lighting the fire on the rainy evenings. Would highly recommend :-)

How do damage deposits work?

If Christopher (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
