Description
Our property is located in Sheen Woods, one of Kenmare's most exclusive and well-maintained developments. It is an extremely attractive modern well-equipped end of terrace home situated a delightful and short walk (0.5 miles) from the lively, colourful town centre of Kenmare. Its location on the Wild Atlantic Way is a perfect starting point for journeying around the magnificent Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara, and the scenic Dingle Peninsula. While we do not have WiFi at the property there is good Internet connection using mobile data.
With private rear lawned garden and patio, beautifully landscaped common areas, and shared access to a gated riverside picnic area looking onto Kenmare Bay, the mountains and the lovely 5-star Park hotel, the property is the perfect spot for a relaxing break.
It is convenient to all amenities including shops, lively pubs, superb restaurants that cater for all budgets and churches etc. For those keen on outdoor activities, Kenmare caters extremely well, with golf, climbing, hill walking, horse riding, bike hire, watersports, fishing and boat trips all available locally.

“Highly Recommend”
We (2 adults and 2 children) stayed in Sheen Woods for 2 weeks this summer. Rosarie was a pleasure and very easy to deal with before we arrived. She and Mary then gave us a lovely friendly welcome and were very informative about the local and wider area. The house itself was spotless, very comfortable and had everything you would need for a family holiday. There were plenty of linens and towels supplied. It’s set in a very quiet, pretty setting, with a lovely shared garden overlooking the river. The house is a great base for exploring Kenmare, Killarney, the Ring of Kerry and the Beara Peninsula. There are plenty of great places to eat in Kenmare itself so we were never stuck for choice. For us with a 4 year old, the walk into Kenmare itself took about 20 minutes. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sheen Woods and we hope to be back ourselves again some day!

“Great location.”
We stayed in Sheen woods in July 2021. Spotless house. Home from home. House in an extremely well maintained housing development. Great advice from the owners. Walking distance of Kenmare town of approximately 15 minutes. Great location to explore Cork and Kerry. We would definately recommend a stay in Sheen Woods.

“Lovely home in Kenmare”
We had a lovely stay at Sheen Woods during our staycation 2020! Rosarie and Mary were there to greet us on arrival, gave us an overview of the well appointed home and suggestions of many things we could do in the area. The house was clean, comfortable and contained everything we needed for a family of 5. It is a short 15 minute walk into the lovely town of Kenmare, but set in a lovely, quiet picturesque setting - we spotted baby deer grazing in the shared back garden on a couple of occasions! The Beara peninsula is spectacular when the sun breaks through the clouds. We hiked Gleninchaquin Park over the lovely waterfall, took the rustic cable car over to Dursey Island to see breathtaking views over the southwest coastline, rented bikes in Killarney National Park and ate the most delicious mussels in Killmackilloge. Kenmare is a haven for great food - we had fantastic meals at Mulcahy's, The Boathouse at Dromquinna Manor, The Horseshoe and the kids loved the brick oven pizza at Shutters on the Pier - but its essential to make a reservation in advance everywhere at the moment. It is definitely a place we will be happy to return to again and again.
