Sleeping up to 4 people, this well maintained and delightful property boasts views across Morecambe Bay. With pleasant gardens with summer house to the rear, this peaceful place is an ideal retreat to unwind and relax.
Changeover days are Monday for 4 nights and Friday for 3 nights
A new kitchen with dining area with new appliances have been recently installed.Here at Lothlorien, we appreciate how important your holidays are and we are committed to offering you a pleasant and enjoyable stay in comfortable, clean and relaxing surroundings. On arrival, you will be met with a warm and friendly welcome and are encouraged to ask questions about the area and its attractions to make sure you get the most from your holiday. In fact, we want you to feel that Lothlorien is your home from home during your stay. If you want a break away from home working or looking for a workcation look no further. Lothlorien is in a perfect location for anyone interested in Cross Bay Walks, Cartmel Races, Holker Hall Garden Festival, Cumbria Steam Gathering and Cartmel Show. For ramblers and fell walkers, this property is an ideal walker friendly holiday home, with Coniston Old Man, High Street and the Langdale Pikes are all less than an hour away by car. For anyone not wanting to use their car, regular bus and train services are available from Kents Bank station.There are a number of pubs, cafes and restaurants in nearby Grange, Allithwaite and Cartmel who cater for all tastes. For anyone interested in fine dining, the award winning L'Enclume restaurant is nearby in Cartmel.We are also pet friendly and accept small well behaved dogs.Our aim is that you arrive as guests and leave as friends. We work from Friday to Thursday for 7 night breaks or Friday to Sunday for 3 nights or Monday to Thursday for 4 nights. We also offer a free cycle store free Wi-Fi and free parking.

“Fantastic stay”
Could not fault this bungalow for our stay in Grange over Sands. It was like home from home. Perfect location for lots of places to visit all within an hours drive. The hosts were amazing. Gave us a tour of the property to ensure we knew where everything was. It was very clean and tidy. The garden was amazing and we were so lucky to have such beautiful weather to make the most of it. We would definitely go back.

“Lovely break”
Had a lovely few days break here ,the bungalow has great amenities.Really comfortable beds and lovely bathroom and kitchen.Accommodation was so cozy and warm with amazing views over the bay from the lounge and the double bedroom.The garden is beautiful and fully enclosed which was perfect having brought our dog with us. Theres a nice easy walk into Grange over sands that starts literally on the doorstep,or you can hop on the train ,the station is a 5 minute walk and train running every hour during December. David could not have made us more welcome,tea, coffee and milk waiting for us on arrival and the box of delicious cup cakes was such a nice gesture.David was very helpful in sharing his knowledge of the local area so we were able to enjoy some lovely scenic walks. This is such a beautiful part of the country , we will definitely return here and would highly recommend Lothlorien for anyone looking for a lovely homely base to stay.
