Description
Birchgate is a lovely, traditional Lakeland stone cottage, tucked away from any passing traffic but still within a few minutes' stroll to Fitz Park, the town centre and Lake Derwentwater. The cottage has a warm and cosy feel with a real fireplace for snug winter evenings along with a chiminea outside for alfresco dining in the summer. Its own parking space completes this ideal holiday cottage.
Additional amenities include: TV/DVD, fire/log burner, walkers, pub within 200m.

We can understand the parking at Birchgate can take a few manoeuvres to get into due to the location of this, especially when driving a larger car. Although we cannot guarantee it, you can often park just a few minutes away on the adjoining streets which is unrestricted. A hairdryer should certainly be provided in all of the properties and we can only apologise if this has not been the case for your stay, we would have happily brought a replacement hairdryer for you to use during your stay.
