Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared garden 50 yards from cottage. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5.7 miles. Note: From the hallway, there are four steps down to the bedrooms and seven steps up to the first floor living area. Please Note: From 29th December 2023 onwards, this property only accepts week long bookings starting from Friday to Friday.
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: An attractive village in the Northern Lakes, Bassenthwaite lies just a short distance to the north east of Bassenthwaite Lake, and retains its traditional rural feel, with a stream flowing gently on the outskirts, whitewashed Lakeland cottages, a pleasant village green and a real ale inn full of character! Bassenthwaite Lake itself, while boasting gentler scenery than others in the region, is still one of the most picturesque places in England.
