Bank Springs Brewery a Grade ll historic Listed Building, formerly a working brewery with original external features part of which is now converted to an attractive holiday house. Set in own grounds overlooking stunning views of Black Combe and surrounding fells Bank Springs is nicely situated within the setting of the Lake District National Park alongside beautiful beaches of the West Coast of Cumbria.
Bank Springs Brewery is set in the beautiful countryside of West Cumbria on the outskirts of a small village called Kirksanton neighbouring the Lake District National Park, UNESCO
Surrounded by stunning views of the local fells and untouched coastline with beautiful beaches Bank Springs makes an excellent base for walking, fell climbing, beach walks and studying local wildlife.
Bank Springs Brewery is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery and explore the whole of the Lake District and historic towns of Cumbria. Coniston, Windermere, Ambleside and stunning Wastwater are all within 30-40 minutes drive from Bank Springs.
Locally there are lots of attractions and amenities, pony trekking, fishing, bird sanctuary, historic buildings, golf, explore the wonderful sand dunes and beaches we have to offer. Enjoy the hospitality of local inns and the main town of Millom is just situated 3 miles away with ample shopping facilities, local train station, museum and park.

“Great cottage”
7 days on that great cottage, very clean,great location just 1 mile from the sea and that great views. Lorraine is great host,very helpful.

“Brilliant week at Bank Springs”
We stayed at Bank Springs 18th to 25th Sept 2020, our party consisted of 4 adults, 1 child aged 31 months and a small dog. The cottage is extremely well equipped, and the location is excellent. All home comforts are provided, including wood and coal for the open fire. The beds are so comfortable it's difficult to get up in the morning There are beaches close by (one within walking distance),and the countryside is right outside your front door!. Views of Black Combe from the cottage will take your breath away - I would never get tired of that view . The owner (Lorraine) could not be more welcoming, and the welcome pack and fresh eggs were a really nice touch. Location wise you can't go wrong, there are many coastal areas within driving distance that are well worth a visit, St Bees for example, and of course the lake district is also a short drive away. There are a couple of pubs that serve food close by, and nearby towns have shops to stock up on the essentials. All in all, the property, location and owner get 5 out of 5 from us
