Description
Aptly named the Vision, with it's unique feature a living room that overlooks the lake from floor to ceiling glass windows. The living room also offers large glass french doors that leads onto the large outside decking area perched on the picturesque lake.
The kitchen offers everything to create a romantic meal for two or a hearty meal for the family whilst still enjoying the lake views.
While away a summers evening wining and dining or enjoy being snug as a bug whilst still enjoying the views.
The lodge offers lots to do on site, the Leisure Centre and Spa has a fully equipped gym a large heated swimming pool and steam room (payable locally).
There are also beauty treatment & therapy rooms available plus the Waters Edge Bar and Restaurant for fine dining or just a quiet drink at the bar.
If you want to explore the surrounding Lake District area, the lodge is in an ideal position for the ultimate walking experience.
Ideal for couples wanting a romantic getaway or a luxurious family holiday for small families to experience lots of fun and outdoor adventures.
It is very close (5 min) drive to the Village of Carnforth, with the famous railway station (Brief Encounter) and lots of shops.
The lodge does provide is own secure wifi ( free of charge) with unlimited use.
Situated on Lakeland Leisure Village which has been the proud recipient of the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and is a Visit Britain 5* Park.
The private lake is suitable for fishing, kayaking, wind surfing or sailing (using your own equipment). The lodge benefits from its own private jetty, ideal to fish from.
There is a small beach for children on site located near the leisure center, the lodge is located on the opposite side of the lake from the leisure center.
During your stay we recommend a visit to the kings Arms at Burton in Kendal, just a short drive away, here you will find a traditional pub with a lovely log fire and excellent food.

“Absolutely beautiful”
Absolutely amazing and definitely a must go again. The lodge was spotlessly clean and the staff had the time of day to stop and chat. Making sure we were happy with outer experience

“Absolutely stunning”
Wow, what a location. The lodge was immaculately clean on arrival. The setting was second to none peaceful and relaxing. Ideally located for the Lake District and the historic city of Lancaster along with Arnside & Silverdale AONB any the Forest of Bowland on your doorstep. The images below are just a couple of views from the decking surrounding the lodge. The owner's communication was excellent. We are already looking at booking again.

“Can't wait to go back. Always fantastic.”
This lodge is fantastic, it is always spotless, it is beautifully presented, well equipped with nice touches like a large selection of dvds & games to play, it is a folder full of helpful information from everything you need to know about things in the lodge, the site & places to visit in the area, even menus for takeaways nearby are left for you. It has a large living & dining area which has the most idyllic view. The kitchen has everything you need in it. The bathroom is a good size which is lovely & light. The beds are very comfortable & bedrooms are both a good size with large windows to let in plenty of light. The balcony outside is large & overlooks the lake. I absolutely love it here, me & my family stay at this lodge 2 to 3 times a year which tells you how good it is. It is so peaceful here, lovely to escape to from our busy lives. The lady Frida who owns this lodge is always very nice & helpful & gives very good instructions for your arrival & is quick in returning your damage deposit once lodge has been checked. Check in at reception has always been very good with very quick service. My husband & son love to fish for pike in this lake & have been successful everytime we have stayed. Can't wait until we return in august. I always highly recommend this lodge to people & have always had excellent feed back off people who have took my advice & stayed here.

“A Perfect getaway”
This was our second stay in this lodge. The lodge itself is very clean and tidy with a terrace overooking the lake. The surroundings are beautiful. A perfect getaway for a short break.
