Description
One of six cottages situated on the SW Coastal Path near Looe.
Six 17th century stone built barns converted to comfortable and well equipped cottages in an Area of Outstanding Natural Landscape and adjacent to the SW Coastal Path. Set around a courtyard and offering the facilities you would associate with a tourist board four star rating. There is ample parking and a child's outdoor play area and a room with games, books and dvds etc. A laundry with drying facilities is provided. Beds are made for your arrival.
Adjacent to the SW Coastal Path with magnificent views of Whitsand Bay and the entrance to Looe Harbour. Just sit on the cliff and relax or have a barbeque in the evening. Close to beaches and the fishing port of Looe. The virtual traffic free ancient smugglers fishing village of Polperro is only a short drive away. Many attractions nearby include the Eden Project and the National Marine Aquarium. National Trust properties include Mount Edgcombe, Cotehele and Lanhydrock as well as other attractions including the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn and Morwhelan Quay.

“Byre cottage”
Just had a lovely stay in a lovely cottage in peace and quiet away from hustle and bustle of looe. We love looe and nearby Polperro. The cottage is one of six some larger than others surrounding a little courtyard. Launderette on site if needed. Play area for kids. Dogs welcome. The byre is where we stayed, open plan kitchen living room both front and back with stable doors, which is nice to look out to all surrounding fields. Double bed, bathroom. Clean and tidy. Carparking one car each cottage. To get to the cottage has quite a few country lanes with passing points which after a couple trips to and from the cottage you get used too. Monkey sanctuary just up the road. And plenty of walks on coastal paths some longer than others.

“Summerscourt cottage”
Cosy cottage in beautiful countryside, peaceful but not far from town. Very helpful hosts and everyone we met in town was friendly. Fantastic food at the Old Sail Loft and Harbour Cafe. Well recommended!
