Response from the owner Thank you for your review .... Im so pleased that you had a lovely week but i am puzzled by yr comments ? ..... I must first of all say that we have so many lovely guests who love this location as the beach is literally just around the corner ..... so many guests return year after year .... and this is shown in the pages and pages of 5 STAR reviews -- please see these other reviews !! .... We understand that families love to bring their dog on holiday .... we love dogs ourselves but of course it is important that we have guidlines to ensure no damage occures .... and this is vital to ensure the comfort of our other guests .... When i sent the details about dogs visiting, i received messages to say it had failed, so of course i sent this again ... i am sorry if you received this a couple of times ..... The swimming pool is literally just a few steps from the property ... guests usually love this as they can pop back for a drink or a snack ..... but you didnt seem to like this being so close ? ..... John is the lovely caretaker at the complex who does pop to the pump room occasionally, but this certainly does not disturb guests here .... We have stayed here ourselves after you left -- whilst there is a little bit of building work going on further up the hill at a completely seperate complex at Mawgan Porth ..... it certainly did not disturb us during our stay at all ... there is building work in many areas in Cornwall, which is completely out of our control .... we understand that this should be finished soon ..... I must also stress that your comments about sweet wrappers under the sofa cushion is bizarre .... as the previous guest had left a precious ring at the property .... and so i was personally at the property removing ALL sofa cushions searching for this ring .... thank goodness we found it for this guest xxx But there was certainly no sweet wrappers !! ..... We offer great value here for a fantastic home from home well equipped property with free WIFI ... i sent lots of information about beaches and things to do .... i even offered to send a couple of free Cornwall brochures in the post for you ..... but it seems that you cant always please guests ....... So i wish you well Stephanie xxx xxx
