Description

This log cabin is close to the village of Newtonmore near to Kingussie and can sleep six people in two bedrooms.Wildcat Lodge is a lovely log cabin situated close to the village of Newtonmore just three miles from Kingussie in the Cairngorms National Park. The cottage sleeps six people in one double bedroom and one twin bedrooms together with family shower room. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a decked balcony with seating and hot tub. Wildcat Lodge is in a very peaceful location and ideal for touring this beautiful part of the country.

Amenities: Electric central heating with gas fire. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Smart Tv with Netflix (Subscription required) CD/radio, WiFi, DVD player. selection of books, and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. 4 bikes to be used at own risk. Decked balcony with seating and hot tub. Two well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Overlooking the River Spey, in the Cairngorms National Park (Britain's largest), Newtonmore has several shops and pubs, as well as two excellent, award-winning museums - the Highland Folk Museum and Clan MacPherson Museum. Newtonmore's Wildcat Trail is a popular, 7-mile circular walk around the edge of the village, taking in the River Spey with woodland, moorland and wonderful views across the valley to the Cairngorms, and behind the village to the Monadhliath Mountains.

“Fantastic stay”

What a fantastic lodge spotlessly clean warm and cozy lynn and eck have thought of everything a nice added touch was a bottle of prosecco which was very nice and much appreciated after our drive. The scenery is beautiful and the river right on your doorstep very relaxing will certainly be returning and will highly recommend to others thank you looking forward to another stay soon .

Everything you need and more... the location is superb, tranquil yet plenty of things to do within driving distance. The hot tub is fantastic. Very clean and had all the amenities you would need. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, popped in to see if everything was okay and said any problems to let them know. Will be staying here again in the near feature. 10/10
