This detached Grade II listed former crossing keeper's home is in the village of Oakamoor and sleeps four people in two bedrooms.The Gate House is a detached Grade II listed former crossing keeper's home in the village of Oakamoor. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which are a king-size double and a twin room. There is also a kitchen with a breakfast area, a dining room and a sitting room with an electric stove. Completing the accommodation is a utility and a ground floor bathroom. Outside is a lawned garden with a patio and furniture and off road parking for four cars. The Gate House is a beautifully unusual property in an ideal location.

Range cooker with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, Smart TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 4 cars. Bike storage. Lawned garden and patio area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 3 mins walk. Note: There is a fenced entrance to the railway tunnel and an uncovered natural spring in the garden, children and pets to be supervised at all times.

Region: The ultimate in year-round appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: The picturesque village of Oakamoor is in a fantastic position in the Churnet Valley and is ideal for walkers, ramblers and cyclists with many routes running nearby. There is a disused railway which provides a link to Denstone which is fantastic for cyclists and there is a Woods and Ways route around the village. There are lovely locations for picnics in the village and the River Churnet runs through the centre.
