Description

A pet friendly property accommodating up to six people with a secure off-road parking bay for the exclusive use of our guests for 1 - 2 cars.

We are delighted to revert to our pre-Covid rental policies so our check in time is now 1pm.

We will also provide a welcome pack of food essentials including coffee, tea, milk, sugar, bread, butter, cheese, and ham and a chilled bottle of wine, which will be ready waiting in the fridge for when you arrive. If anyone in your party has any food alergies at all, please advise us and we will not include this welcome pack.

Well suited to two families sharing, this modernised three bedroom bungalow benefits from a modern kitchen complete with dishwasher and washing machine, family bathroom with underfloor heating and one bedroom with an en-suite shower room with toilet and basin. The property is well equipped with TV, DVD and free unlimited wi-fi.

Outside, there is a good size back garden with a bar-b-que and bench so that you can make the most of every al fresco dining opportunity. At the front there is a large terrace with a round bench with integral seating.

The bungalow is located four to five minutes walk from Padstow harbour and even less to the Camel Trail. From the living room, master bedroom and front terrace, you can see the white sandy beaches of Rock, the ferry making its regular estuary crossing and the plethora of sailing craft, speedboats, and fishing boats as they thread their way around the estuary. To the north, it is possible to see the surf breaking on the beaches as far as Daymer Bay and Polzeath. Turning towards the south, you can see the River Camel as it winds its way towards Wadebridge. These are some of the very best views available in Padstow.

Bedroom 1 has super-kingsize bed with a new mattress fitted in March 2023. A door from one end of the living room leads to bedroom 2 which benefits from a double bed and an en-suite shower room with toilet. The third bedroom has two single beds. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are equipped with good quality hair dryers.

Clean linen and towels are provided weekly but guests will need to bring their own beach towels.

Parking is available in the secure parking bay at the rear, or on the road directly in front of the house.

Dependent on other bookings, we may be able to offer you an early check-in and late check-out but ordinarily, check-in is anytime after 4.00 p.m. and the property should be vacated by 10a.m. on the morning of departure.

We welcome pets for a nominal additional charge and subject to prior agreement with the owner.

For rental periods charging a weekly rate of £850 or less, a £10 per night, per guest surcharge will be applied for more than four guests.

“Lovely views, pet friendly”

Great location, easy walk into Padstow or to the Camel trail. This is a pet friendly house, very clean and comfortable. Owner has been a delight to deal with, will be booking here again

Unfortunately we had to cancel at very short notice due to my husband catching coronavirus. We couldn't have got a better response from the owner. Very helpful, can't thank him enough. We will definitely re-book.

“Perfect!”

Perfect location to stay in Padstow to pop to restaurants, harbour, shops and beach. Immaculately clean and kitted out with everything we required. Garden was secure for our little furry friends - and the views were beautiful - we could watch the estuary for hours.

“Great location, warm and well equipped”

The bungalow was well equipped with plenty of space and lovely views over Padstow and the estuary. It was perfectly sited in a quiet location but easy walking distance of the coast path, camel trail (great for cycling) and Padstow shops, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!

“Do not book!!!”

***Do not book to stay here.*** We booked to stay in Padstow as a thank you to our parents for their help with our wedding in August 2019. It turned into an absolute disaster. When adding my two sisters and their partners as additional guests a couple of weeks before our stay (meant to be a surprise for my parents) Trevor tried to overcharge us - he emailed us directly wanting £250, rather than the correct amount of £145, sent to his personal account. When we politely questioned this calculation, he claimed that he had originally undercharged us by £60...but this was not the case. Even when added to the extra £145, this only totalled £205 - we still have no idea where £250 came from. We got in touch with Holiday Lettings as we were becoming concerned about the additional charges, who then tried to contact Trevor. He then phoned us at home in the evening and was extremely unpleasant. He informed us that he would be refusing our extra guests, would refuse to answer the phone to Holiday Lettings and would purposely not cancel our holiday - something that would incur us additional fees. This was both upsetting and extremely unfair - we had been more than understanding, polite and courteous every step of the way in our exchanges with Trevor. We simply did not want to be conned out of our money. All in all, an extremely unpleasant experience that caused a huge amount of upset for us. The holiday surprise was ruined.

Response from the owner I continue to be apalled by your vitriolic behaviour. I explained at the time that your last minute request was outside of our normal parameters and that the following day was my Mother's funeral so I was not in a position to deal with your request easily. You ignored all of my explanations and attempts to find an equitable solution and continued your quest of spite, extended here in your review. What very unpleasant people you have shown yourselves to be.

“Perfect Padstow”

Padstow was at its best with great weather and, with Easter being late, dog friendly beaches. We enjoyed staying at Treganna with its central location, great views and super accommodation
