The villa rustica of Contrada Miracles, in the territory of Partanna, is immersed in a typical campaign Trapani olive grove. The villa is the ideal place to relax, away from traffic and clamors of the city, and is an ideal base for visiting the most beautiful places of western Sicily like Selinunte with its magnificent Greek temples, just 20 km, the nearby pristine beaches, at the mouth of the river Belice, the Modione, beneath the Acropolis and the beach of Portopalo di Menfi. In the surroundings you can make numerous excursions: the Castello della Pietra, the nature reserve of Santa Ninfa, Cave to Cave of Cusa, the Trinity, the nature reserve of Gorghi Tondi, the Head of the fetus, the Gorges of the river Modione Biggini aqueduct, and all places within a maximum of 30 minutes away by car. The territory is rich in monuments and places not to be missed: Mazara del Vallo, Salemi, places the earthquake of 1968 in the Valley of Belice (from the ruins of the ancient architectures centers of reconstruction), or still the same Ankara with its castle, and Castelvetrano, rich in monuments, ranging from the middle ages to the Baroque. Ending with food and wine: villa Contrada Miracles lies in the realm of fine olive oil of Nocellara del Belice, and your welcome will begin by enjoying the delicious taste and aroma of the oil produced here, along with another pillar of local food, black bread, flour products of an ancient Sicilian grain, the Marconi 31. “A wonderful house in a sea of green olive trees”
The house was great 15min to the beach 40 min to the airport. The house is in an olive grove with plenty of parking for extra cars. We explored the western end of the island from there. Partanna is a … More
