Description from owner

Description

Welcome to The Byre at Deepdale Hall. Available all year round, The Byre offers peace and quiet in a wonderfully picturesque location. We have been awarded the prestigious Visit England Gold Award and Four Stars for the quality of our self catering accommodation.

Wifi will be available in the Byre form from 1st May 2016

The Byre is adjacent to Deepdale Hall, and has been converted to a very high standard with oak wood used throughout, retaining the original beams. There is solid oak flooring with scatter rugs, apart from the bedrooms which have pure Herdwick wool fitted carpets made locally in Kendal.

The Byre has 2 bedrooms, a King size and a twin, on the ground floor along with a bathroom which has a bath with shower over. There is also a shower room with toilet and basin on the first floor.

The first floor is magnificent open plan room with a kitchen at one end, dining area in the middle and lounge area with TV, wood burning stove and two leather sofas at the end with the large opening which was the barn doors. These doors lead outside to a private outside seating area with panoramic views to the fells.

The well equipped Kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge freezer, double electric oven and a separate electric hob.

The whole place is very comfortable and kept warm with a newly installed Biomass boiler, which also provides gallons of hot water. For relaxing evenings The Byre has a colour TV, DVD and Video. All windows and doors are double glazed and the walls and roof have been insulated for really cosy comfort even in the middle of Winter.

The views are phenomenal looking up Deepdale towards Fairfield, onto Aiken Crag at the back and across to Place Fell at the front.

Bed linen, towels and logs for the fire are provided. We also provide a welcome pack and complimentary toiletries. Unfortunately as we are a working farm we are unable to accept pets at the property.
