Lucy’s Self-catering Holiday Cottage offers the perfect holiday retreat for two people in the heart of Polperro, a quaint and picturesque fishing village on the South coast of Cornwall. Surrounded by farm and National Trust land, Polperro is renowned for its coastal walks, traffic-free streets and quaint cottages. With fishing and pleasure trips provided by local fishermen, several beautiful and safe beaches nearby, and a choice of fine restaurants and traditional pubs with real fires and real ale, there is something for everyone here.

“Not for the over 70`s.”

The Cottage itself was very clean and reasonably comfortable.The Sofa and chair were worn and uncomfortable.The steps up to the front door were difficult for us...I have recently had a hip replacement,and my wife is Asthmatic.To access the dustbin you needed to have the nimbleness of a mountain goat.The Kitchen was well equipped,and the Bathroom fine.Jackie was quick to respond to any queries.

“Disappointed from Dunstable”

Where to start, on first view everything looked lovely and the village is very pretty. We enjoyed the lovely walks on the south West coastal path and clocked up many miles! Also we would recommend the Cumplehorn inn lovely food and very friendly. We also got a good nights sleep as the bed was very comfortable, however the cottage itself needs a little bit of attention e.g mouldy sealant in the bathroom was not pleasant, The table and chairs outside are in desperate need of a coat of paint, and the many cobwebs made the cottage feel neglected. The outside area also needed some attention, more weeds then flowers which was a shame as most of the property's in the village were well maintained. The overall appearance is less shabby chic more tired and in need of attention.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Jackie (the owner) a message.

If Jackie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
