2015 was our first year of letting this property and for 2016 onwards we have made a few minor changes to our terms and conditions. As The Cove is not just a holiday let to us but very much a home-from-home where we enjoy spending significant family time, we are restricting group bookings to a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children per booking. The property remains at a capacity of 6 so please enquire about alternative configurations but we would prefer not to book 6 adults at any one time. Thank you for your understanding.

“Family holiday 2022”
This was our second visit to the apartment. When we arrived the apartment was presented very well. Everything was clean and tidy. One big disappointment was everything was available to make a drink, except milk. Not even one pint in the fridge.! The first thing you want after a 300 mile drive is a nice cuppa. We really enjoyed our stay here again this year. You can do as little or as much as you want to from here. Lazy days or adventurous ones, it's a great base. We purchased a family day saver bus ticket. Caught the bus to Truro from the bottom of the road. What a lovely bus ride looking at some stunning scenery and going through some gorgeous little villages. A great stress free journey. All in all, another great family holiday.

“Charming, immaculate, great location”
The location of this flat was at the quiet top of the hill from the village, a few minutes' walk to everything including the beach. The decor is fresh and charming, the flat immaculate, and all instructions were clearly laid out by the very helpful owners. Everything was included from towels to crockery and family games and videos; there is even a trunk full of beach activity toys. There is a small sea view, enough to enjoy and hear the waves at night. The village has plenty of amenities including two surf schools; we tried one of them and were very pleased. The beach was big and lovely with gorgeous views from above and below the cliffs. The village was quiet, and full of surfing families, cats and snails. And the wider location was well situated for driving to fun, food and views including National Trust Godrevy. Can only think of two small improvements: a second set of keys for independent teens would be helpful, and some fresher cooking pans are needed. That's it! :-) Although the Cornish weather wasn't always cooperative, we nonetheless can't fault our stay!

“Brilliant apartment”
The apartment was brilliant... immaculately clean, great location. A lot of thought has gone into everything... the welcome pack... the kitchen was well equipped with lots of cutlery, plates everything that was needed and it was matching... not a collection of odd bits. The living /dining room was really comfy... lots of seating. The bedrooms are a great size with really comfy beds and nice linen and towels. Main bedroom even had an ensuite. If you are looking for a great place to stay .. this is it. Could only be bettered by being right next to the beach.

“6 the cove”
Brilliant place to stay, in walking distance to shop and cafe/restaurants so you only have to drive if you feel like it. Porthtowen is our favorite beach, loved that you can hear the sea from the apartment. Will be back again soon.

“Porthtowan holiday”
The venue was good, It had easy access and nearby parking. Well equipped kitchen and living space. Sadly though the bed was not good for me as it had beautiful goose down and feather duvets pillows and cushions which I am allergic to! But once sorted I had a really good sleep each night on a great mattress. All the beds had good mattresses too!
