Description
The Podere le Pialle is an agriturismo near Florence, immersed in the green of the Tuscan countryside: an old restored farmhouse, surrounded by olive trees and cypresses.
You can start from our farm to visit Florence and the Tuscan art cities in easy day trips, and in the evening return to the peace of this corner of paradise. You will stay in comfortable rooms and apartments, restored and equipped with all amenities, and if you like, you can eat with us. Our agriturismo near Florence is composed of a cottage next to which guests can stay in rooms with shared bathroom, or in an apartment with bedroom, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. If you don't want to Cook, you can try the delicious and creative cuisine of Tuscany by Gabriella. We decided to cultivate our products following the principles of organic farming: taste our oil or honey and feel the goodness! Try one of the dishes cooked by Gabriella, made with vegetables harvested in the morning directly from the garden, or one of the jams prepared with seasonal fruits. There is also the typical Tuscan cuisine of our agriturismo, with menu km zero, and dishes made with organic ingredients from the garden and typical products of the territory's farms: we support strongly the goodness of short chain. An important lifestyle choice that we share with our guests.
Here at Podere le Pialle we are very environmentally conscious and nature that surrounds us.
In recent years, step by step, we have tried to adopt environmentally responsible behaviors: To keep us warm in the winter season we have a heating system with boiler on biomass electricity around the Podere le Pialle is provided by a photovoltaic system.
We are also very careful to recycle as much as possible, to collect household waste separately and not wasting resources at our disposal, in the hope of preserving our world in the best way possible, for ourselves and for our children.
We are confident that our customers will have the same our sensibilities.
A small introduction to not disappoint your expectations: we know how important it is to choose your long awaited vacation you want, and for this reason, we consider it correct to tell you what we can and what we offer our clients.
We are a family that offers hospitality in its own farm, we are lovers of nature and we are pleased to share with our guests experiences and passions, tips, but we are not a hotel: we won't find uniformed staff, flawless English meadows or in-room breakfast service, you won't find air-conditioned environments by powerful air conditioning equipment.
You will find typical environments, passionately held, respecting the Tuscany tradition and culture. We are in the open countryside surrounded by hills and Woods, otherwise that would be organic farm? To get here you must drive a long narrow and winding road for 1 km and 700 metres, although almost entirely paved, and entirely passable to all types of car and driver's license, it can be a bit tricky. It's just the first impression, trust me! Already the second time that you follow, you feel much easier. Don't let that impress.
