“Great location for Devon and Cornwall”

Reviewed 13 Jul 2018

Great self-contained cottage. Comfortable bed (so important), everything we required. Hosts available if we had any questions but left us to own devices otherwise. Places visited in the area were: Dartmoor, where we saw some ponies on our trip over the top, then down to the end A30 across Bodmin Moor and Redruth, to St Michael’s Mount, then on to Lands End via Penzance. Back through Lizard Point up to Truro, St Austell and Liskeard. North Devon and North Cornwall. Clovelly, walked down and up the steep street. Imagine how fit you would be walking up and down this street every day! Plymouth, walked around the historical Barbican area from where in 1620 the Mayflower sailed to America. Saw Smeaton's Tower and the Naval Memorial, then on to Exeter via Paignton and Torquay.
