Located just a few minutes stroll from the heart of bustling Bowness with stylish shops, tea rooms and pubs, and a mere 100 metres from the lake with all its watersports, it makes a perfect base for a superb holiday for families or groups of friends.

The whole of the Lake District is on your doorstep. Shop 250 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

“Where not to go.”

The house is in a good location. That is all that can be said. the decor is terrible ,curtains that will not close because of grubby track, Cobwebs in the dining room corners and on the light fittings… More

“Fantastic Location and Accommodation”

On arriving at the property it was easy to gain entry with the instructions given. The property was spacious and well laid out, everything we needed was available to enjoy a few days away from towels and bed linens to crockery, glasses etc. A range of reading material and a selection of games. The location is brilliant with views of the lake and close to all the amenities Bowness has to offer, and also good value. We will definitely be making another visit as soon as we can.

I would’ve give The holiday home top marks for location and equipment such as towels pots and pans knives and forks and plates all that lot loads of it but it was not very clean and it was a bit tatty one of the single bed was broken when we arrived and ask for it to be fixed which it was fix the next day but the downstairs toilet will not flush I reported that that that was never fixed

“Perfect location and spacious for a big group”

We enjoyed a lovely few days here as a big group it did not feel over crowded and the location is perfect for walks out into town but far enough away to feel away from the town and in the country. Would defo return. Also the lady who lives next door is lovely and enjoyed chatting to the kids on the balcony and sharing her knowledge of the area.

We spent 3 nights here the apartment was clean and tidy had all facilities right in Bowness plenty of bars shops etc... we went on a boating trip over to Ambleside the boating lake is right on lake Windermere and not even a five min walk to get to..Bowness is a beautiful part of the Lake District and we weren’t disappointed with anything. Sorry we never booked longer. Stunning scenery breathtaking views Will be going again.

“Lakes stay”

What a lovely place to stay we picked it due to its location and it didn’t disappoint the 2 parking places are a real bonus!!! The upstairs bedroom is huge with en-suite with another double and a twin and a family bathroom upstairs.0n the middle level is a huge living room and a great kitchen /diner downstairs another double and shower room. The property was fantastically clean kitchen has everything you need and all the space is great !!! We will definitely be going back it’s a great base and a great price

“Just Lovely!”

The apartment was perfect for us. Clean and very roomy. John has been great with communication and even put birthday decorations up before we arrived (which I sent over a few days before). Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend. The location was fab too.
