Description

The Croft is a 1920's detached house in the town of Wadebridge, Cornwall. A superb family home that sleeps 9, with three double bedrooms (one en-suite), one single bedroom and a family bathroom upstairs, and one further bedroom/reception room, one lounge and a large kitchen/ diner with utility room and wc downstairs.

The property has Wi-Fi, three televisions, fantastic wood burner in the kitchen/diner and an AGA range cooker, and a cosy wood burner in the lounge. The large south facing garden is an ideal place to relax with a warm slate patio with outdoor dining, a wood-fired pizza oven and a six person hot tub. Steps lead up to a lawned area, and further steps leading up to a bbq and bar area, a veg plot and a further seating area with views. There is a also a shepherd hut at the top of the garden with sleeping for a further 3 or 4 people - available for extra cost via negotiation. The garden is very private and you are welcome to help yourself to any seasonal produce as it ripens!

The Croft is ideally situated for Wadebridge town centre (10 min walk), the Royal Cornwall showground (10 min walk) and Tesco (5 min walk). For exploring the local area, just 15 minutes drive by car will take you to superb beaches at Polzeath, fine dining in Padstow and the sailing mecca of Rock. The buzzing holiday town of Newquay is just 20 minutes drive, and the county town of Truro just 30 minutes drive away.

The Croft is a fabulous family home from home and as such you will find all the necessary home comforts, including plenty of childrens toys, games and books to keep the family entertained! As well as all home appliances such as coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer.

“Fantastic”

We had a lovely week away in The Croft. It’s a beautiful house with an amazing garden. There is lots of space to relax and was lovely having a separate play room for the children. Faye was sooo helpful when booking and suggested lots of places to eat out and days out. Thank you to Faye for making it all so easy and enjoyable. X

A great place to stay! We used this as a base to explore the area, we all enjoyed The Camel Trail. Then it was back to the house with its sun trap patio and family kitchen for dinner.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Faye (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
